I know the question of the day: who the hell is Bruna Marquezine, the brazilian actress what joined #BlueBeetle? A quick thread (i hope)

First of all, expect A LOT of brazilian references on this post, because she is brazilian. She will probably speak spanish on the film, but in Brazil, Portuguese is our mother tongue, so generalize like Hollywood will do with her in #BlueBeetle.

Well, lets move. Born in Duke of Caxias (Rio de Janeiro, what isn't Brazil capitol), her first major role was at Brazilian Soap opera 'Women In Love' (Mulheres Apaixonadas), when she was just 8 years old and her performance was well praised. #BlueBeetle

She did more soap operas until 2011. In 2012, when finally made 18, she did the soap opera Hail Jorge (Salve Jorge! Na Lua!) and could be proper objectify by the Globo TV Oligarchy as a sex symbol, which almost made her abandon the actress career. #BlueBeetle

But with a network of other actresses giving her support, and more control about her roles she choose after that, she ends playing a 'Helena' (women characters what is a trademark from elitist novel plotter Manoel Carlos) [+] #BlueBeetle

what cement her a young and rich AF actress in the brazilian market. She made more soap operas until 2019, with the last one been 'God Save The Queen' (which is basicly a CW Game of Thrones). #BlueBeetle

With the Globo TV Oligarchy changing the formnat of contracts, in 2019 bruna leaves the tv channel, and did more projects in movie, model and streaming. #BlueBeetle

In 2019 she did 'Conquest' with Keannu Reeves for Netflix, and later did a contract for the streaming service in Brasil (with S, not Z, caralho). #BlueBeetle

She was also a finish contender for the role of Supergirl in 'The Flash', but because COVID, she was unnable to travel to did the final tests. But likes is a trend currently at WB, Warner is looking in several different tests screening for the contracts. #BlueBeetle

But the real question is: can Bruna act? YES. But for a long time i haven't seen she been really challanged at the role, so i believe in #BlueBeetle can be a amazing opportunity to show how good she can be. Personally, i'm curious, and happy for her.
