Could you imagine going from the job of your dreams to a job shoveling poop? One big city executive did & he loves it.
Tomorrow, on @CBSMornings at 8am we’ll take you to a ranch in Northern California for some laughter, tears & hugging a donkey. Proof 👇🏻
My partner has not stopped clowning me for the way I say donkey. 🤣
Saddle up. because we’re headed to Mendocino County, California to spend time at @OscarSanctuary. @CBSMornings
You’ll meet @ronking_nyc and hear him talk about how donkeys are, in his opinion, like dogs - they’ll come when you call them, play with you, love to cuddle, and some even crawl in his lap. ImageImageImageImage
Listen to them!

🧵 My Valentine spent the day with me in a courtroom.
A month and a half ago when I first heard about the case of Vincent Simmons I went down a rabbit hole.
It was a Friday.
I was on vacation.
But I was curious. Obsessively so.
Did he get a fair trial?
I called his attorney.
Watched a documentary about the case.
Read close to 200 pages of court documents.
I wanted to investigate the story but realized that Vincent Simmons had been trying to tell the story for nearly 30 years & nearly a dozen judges dismissed his claims.
So was it worth it I wondered.
I kept going.
For the last two months I’ve worked on the Simmons story and Jeremy has followed every step.
I asked him to watch the documentary about the case.
His interest led him to join me in Marksville, Louisiana today.
