On March 11th the Russian air force bombed border settlements in Belarus. No one was injured in the attack.
The insidious provocation was carried out in an attempt to goad armed forces of Belarus into entering the war on Russia's side. 1/8 armyinform.com.ua/2022/03/12/vor…
The Russians did not conduct offensive operations in areas to the northwest of Kyiv. The enemy remained at positions along the Irpin River and attempted to restore combat capability as well as regroup troops. 2/8
North of Kyiv, a Russian offensive operation was partially successful to the southwest of the city of Chernihiv. The supply line from Belarus is especially vulnerable in that area.
In Sumy region the enemy conducted no offensive operations and brought up reserves. 3/8
Deliberate provocation and escalation: Russian attack aircraft took off from an airfield in temporarily occupied Ukraine, bombed Ukrainian targets, then carried out airstrikes on Belarus territory.
The dictator Putin desperately needs the Belarus army to join his war to annihilate Ukraine, expecting that to happen a week ago. But orders from Putin to Lukashenka to unit commanders to Belarusian soldiers were not followed – hence this "Mainila Incident" false flag operation.
Belarusian soldiers have even worse morale than Russian soldiers. They don't want to kill Ukrainians.
If they go into battle in Ukraine (probably in the west, near Poland) they will do badly. If they stay in their barracks it will be another blow to Putin's war effort.
Ukrainian defenders liberated the village of Baklanova Muraviika from Russian-fascist forces.
This victory protects the city of Chernihiv from being besieged and makes the enemy supply line (180km from the Belarus border to the outskirts of Kyiv) more vulnerable.
"In the area of the village of Shestovytsia, Chernihiv region, the occupiers are looking for a way to surrender." –General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Ukrainians are close to cutting off the route south, which will trap a huge concentration of Russian forces.
"During the day [March 10], the defenders of Ukraine forced the enemy to retreat to unfavourable positions in the Poliskyi and Volynske directions." –General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Poliskyi district is west of Chornobyl, northwest of Kyiv, along the Belarus border.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are focussed on preventing an advance by Russia in the southeast from Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
A circular defence is maintained around Mariupol 2/7
The border with Belarus continues to be covered by Ukrainian defenders to protect Volyn, Rivne and Zhytomyr regions.
Strongly-held Ukrainian positions along the Desna River in the northeast protect Chernihiv and divide Russian forces. 3/7
Ukraine's defence forces are repelling and holding back the offensive of the Russian armed forces in all directions.

Some Russian invasion columns were incapacitated and compelled to deploy reserves
Ukrainian defenders have pushed the aggressors back to the border in some areas. Ukraine's strategic battle has been improved by consolidating previously disparate units. 2/7
The Russian Federation is not abandoning plans to encircle Kyiv, continuing the next operation west of Chornobyl (at Poliske) and and east of Chernihiv (around Severskyi). 3/7
Russia continues the offensive against Ukraine with the support of aircraft and the use of high-precision weapons.
The enemy's main efforts are for the capture of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Mariupol, Mykolayiv and to reach to boundaries of Luhansk and Donetsk regions. 1/7
Russia's puppet state Belarus may still plan to include its army in the invasion force. Six Lukashenka regime battle groups are noted as mobilizing to join the offensive. But the morale of Belarusian soldiers is extremely low. They don't want to fight alongside Russians. 2/7
The Russians have substantial forces tied up protecting extended and vulnerable supply lines. Their combat units at the front are insufficient to lay siege to Kyiv. Attempting to storm the city from several directions, the enemy suffers heavy losses from Ukrainian defenders. 3/7
