As a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) and having worked in different data roles as Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Architect, and even led Data Architecture Project, I can see before me a major challenge for the African Market.

The same Data that is spurring new opportunities in the continent might lead to the fall of others or make them lose the game to their competitors.

Businesses in Africa believe so much in revenue without attention to Technical excellence. We have been growing double digits...

... why do I need to spend this huge amount on a project (Data Architecture) that will not generate any revenue but rather incur more cost (new hires and salaries).

This is the illusion some company's management team are facing today.

Data Management is also a journey but it is important that organization have the correct roadmap and actionable timelines.

As a Data Management Specialist, you will be at the centre. Leading efforts to ensure adequate governance and progressive maturity on these areas.

Lots of people have approached me today looking for Data Management Analyst. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone I can recommend.
You don't necessarily need to be a data scientist, analyst, etc before you can work as a Data Management Specialist. There are training that can help

If you are interested in this career path, your first assignment before coming to me is
