Putin may be a war criminal, but how is that different than what the left called Bush? Or about Obama with his drone strikes? These Western elites don't care about Ukraine except as it is part of the plan to absorb the semi-periphery of Europe into a globalist "core."
Putin is bad. Globalist elites are bad. In this power struggle, there are no "good guys." There are no "winners." The only losers are the people of these countries who are caught in the middle.

If you study the origins of Marxism in Russia, it was posed as a solution for the agrarian & industrializing Russia to 'leap frog' the West. The Western 'revolutions' in advanced capitalist economies didn't bear out...
International communism turned into a way for Russia to penetrate & weaken its enemies, while maintaining largely fascist policies at home (such as during World War II). The USSR eventually needed a 'makeover' so communism would take better hold in an unsuspecting West.
The Soviets were a little too successful with its active measures, however; the Western elites turned communism into a mutant form known as cultural Marxism; it became a form of propaganda that globalist elites could turn inward to divide political opposition & weaken societies.
The battle of our age is no longer the Cold War. It is not the USA vs. USSR. It is not Western Civilization vs. China & Russia. It is not Communism vs. Liberal Democracy.
The real power struggle is now Globalist Tyranny versus the rest of Humanity.
