On one afternoon of June 2003, I was to attend an IT hearing of a case of my employer’s client at ITO; as the concerned officer was running late, I was roaming around the corridors of ITO on 2nd floor, when I saw a poster-PARIVARTAN POSTER-exhorting public to avoid giving bribes.

Aware of the needs of my profession, I was a reluctant CA working in a consulting firm for obvious reasons. So the contents of the poster did capture my imagination. When the concerned ACIT turned up,I asked him about the poster in the corridor. He laughed & asked me to ignore it

But when I probed further, he said : “hain ek mahaanubhaav jinko faaltu mein hero ban ne ka shauq hai- kiya aajtak kuch nahi hai lekin footage poori le rahe hain - poster laga kar.” We both laughed and started discussing the content of the case, I was representing my client for!

I left consulting space and moved into the industry. Come 2004, and we all BJP supporters received the rude shock of seeing our party lose power…. India that was cruising at a good speed under our fav leader, came to a sudden halt…

Around 2007 - there was a colleague from a consulting firm, who i helped get placement in the company I was working for. During one of the discussion with him, I again came to know of PARIVARTAN and this time about some new nautanki that they were doing in AmbedkarNagar area

I asked him same Q about PARIVARTAN as I had asked ACIT in his ITO office and the answer I got from this colleague was not much different from
one I received almost 4 years ago in 2003. But there was one change, the word PARIVARTAN was now a NGO with few names.

Around 2009, I moved to another company & a colleague of mine - who was business head of vertical,I was heading in F&A domain,became a good friend. Once he asked me to help with him with a proposal -proposal for a political party. I laughed it off & discussion ended

By 2013, I came to know that the friend of mine is actively working with Kejriwal and Sisodia….it was so well planned from the beginning - will come back to that later

Come 2011/12, Anna became a rage and everyone lapped him up; and that movement allowed @arvindkejriwal to come out of the Parivartan closet for the first time- time for the project of Ford Foundation had arrived and Kejriwal hijacked entire movement

As @ArvindKejriwal ‘s ambition kept rising so did his weight - the frail and pale Kejriwal of Ramlila maidan added several layers to both- his weight and his ambitions. So after Anna, it was time for Vishwas, Yadav, Bhushan to go - naturally they all were thrown out!

He found a perfect match for himself in a transactional city like Delhi. He offered them free water and electricity and in return city elected his party by handing him seats across Delhi - even posh localities of GK and Green Park etc found him fit to rule Delhi

Delhi, being a commercial / trade centre for the entire north is the biggest beneficiary of the GST regime; state earns disproportionately high money thanks to its location. And the Kejriwal in @arvindkejriwal has been milking it continuously ever since his election

Money earned from Del is spent on buying loyalties of media -I won’t be surprised if someone were to tell me that a CM of half state spends more money on building his image than all BJP CMs put together. Even centre don’t spend that much money- reason why Lutyen crawls before him

In the process truth is the loser as Delhi media has allowed him to lie & lie with impunity. Everyone knows that @arvindkejriwal is the biggest liar yet no one bothers to Q him or expose his lies. His victory speech for Punjab is one out of 000s of his lies,tht goes uncontested

During his Punjab result speech, signs of the megalomaniac liar that @arvindkejriwal is, can be found in every word that he spoke. Consider this: he took his own name 9 times in his 12 minute speech. Mann - who brought him victory, was mentioned just once.

Ignoring the rhetorical part of his speech, let us focus on his lies that Indian media ignored, in line with the trend prevalent for past 7 yrs- yes @ArvindKejriwal, riding Delhi money, has managed to buy their silence and that is the saddest part of Indian politics.

1st lie of Kejriwal was abt medical education. True to his modus operandi, he tried to leverage Ukraine situation by claiming that there has been no progress in building Medical Education infrastructure since independence- absolute lie it is as far as Modi Govt’s tenure goes.

During last 7 yrs of @narendramodi Govt, number of MBBS seats has increased from 54,348 in 387 Medical colleges in 2014 to 88,120seats in 596 medical colleges in 2021-stupendous increase of 62% seats in undergraduate medical education in the country in just seven years.

The number of AIIMS seats hv increased from a mere 7 in 2014 to 22 in 2022. Meanwhile in Delhi under the tenure of Shri @ArvindKejriwal, saw number of seats increase by 42% as compared to the national average of 62%. But he lies and lies with impunity

Next big claim of @arvindkejriwal was that under AAP, mothers and sisters will feel safe. His performance on CCTV claims is well known but his Govt did not appoint public prosecutors in Delhi riot cases- women suffered much during these riots and they were affected by it.

On education - AAP promised 20 new degree colleges and 500 new schools in its 2015 manifesto. Against this, it added only 1 degree college and closed down 16 schools instead.

AAP that spend crores on ad money every month has NOT recruited teachers despite 45% shortage of teachers. It played a sham by adding 20,000 classrooms instead of the promised schools, to get out of the precarious situation.

AAP’s false manifesto promise of centralising nursery class admissions, on which many parents had pinned hopes, came to a standstill when the Education Minister, @msisodia shelved the ambitious plan citing impracticality.

AAP promised to open playgrounds of 3000 schools for public, however announcements for only 77 school playgrounds were made. Quality of teaching in delhi school is evident from the video in below quoted tweet

On health front, AAP had promised to increase beds in Delhi hospitals to 5 per 1,000, but according to a World Health Organisation report, Delhi has 2.9 beds per 1,000 people. The party had also promised quality drugs for all affordable prices but no of meds shrank under AAP

Also @ArvindKejriwal government dispensaries and hospitals had a 34% shortage of Medical staff & 29% shortage of paramedical staff. There was a 66% shortage reported in the post of lecturers in medical colleges- thus compromising on quality Medical education of students

When AAP started in Delhi in 2015, they announced 1000 Mohalla clinics in Delhi. However, it was only able to make 203 Mohalla clinics functional. The quality of mohalla clinics was exposed during COVID 19 pandemic when Delhi was worst hit amongst northern states.

Shortage of oxygen, shortage of critical care equipment and ICU beds have cost thousands of lives. Social media was filled with desperate pleas for beds, medicines, oxygen, while crematoriums and burial grounds ran out of space. But Media allowed Kejriwal to play his game.

Indian media never questioned Kejriwal’s role in Delhi deaths during covid as his Govt failed to improve Health Infrastructure in Delhi despite repeated reminders from Govt and warnings from experts. We know what SC and Delhi HC said in this matter yet no media scrutiny happened

AAP constructed ZERO new hospitals between 2015-19, which became the major reason for the fallout during the second wave of COVID.20
Also less than 50% of PHCs in Delhi, have labour rooms and less than half the PHCs in Delhi have 4 beds.

In terms of PHC’s infrastructure, AAP’s promise of creating 900 primary health centres and adding 30,000 beds to Delhi hospitals has clearly not been met. Only 200 primary health centres were running.

Almost 270 of about 480 much touted Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinics (AAMCs) were shut down in Delhi despite repeated advertisements by AAP to showcase Mohalla Clinics as an ideal
health system. But media never question @ArvindKejriwal

The money that @arvindkejriwal saved from providing deficient edu and medical infra in Delhi was instead used to buy silence of media- which is why despite being found lying repeatedly, he remained unquestioned.

Sadly, Indian media, in its hate for BJP & PM Modi, is letting @arvindkejriwal continue his lies; instead of Qg him, they all amplify his lies; his party fought in Goa, UP and Ukd and made tall claims. Despite suffering losses there, he was projected as winner of 2022 elections.

Time will show how Indian public will answer all the lies of @arvindkejriwal and teach him a befitting lesson. His contradictions will become more evident now and media won’t be able to hide his failure. Win in Punjab will advance his political death!

Looking back at 19 years of Parivartan & AAP game played by @arvindkejriwal one can certainly say that this man is biggest liar of Indian political discourse. Wish his colleagues in ITO NOT ignore his theatrics with PARIVARTAN, politics would have been better without this liar!
