Could progressives who say JK doesn’t speak for them tell me why they’re ok with rapists being put in female prison and gay/autistic children being chemically castrated like Alan Turing was? My brother died of AIDS so I get to claim the rainbow for my family too, /1

So can anyone who’s saying they’re utterly choked to hear mask mandate repealed on transit tell me what you did when you saw people on the bus improperly masked or not wearing masks at all? Did you approach them? Ask transit to call police? Demand enforcement?
I’m curious why there’s such outrage at the removal of a rule that wasn’t being enforced on transit?
I don’t need any special law to wear my headscarf. I don’t need other women to perform that behaviour because I think it’s a healthy one. I do me and let others live. That’s called adulting. Try it.

Masks are more like headscarves than smoke detectors right now.
