Nnewi Creative Industry Holds Their First Official Meeting
As KomWorld Entertainment Centre in Nnewi is fast getting completed, the CEO, Mr Kene Mkparu finally invited the creatives in Nnewi for an official physical meeting after months of online group meetings and chats 1/4
Few pioneers from the group met at B. Robinson coffee house, Otolo Nnewi.
After some series of discussions, sharing of thoughts, robbing minds together, the NNEWI CREATIVE INDUSTRY committee is now set up.
People from different sectors of creative industry like 2/4
intellectual property Lawyers, Writers, film producers, Models, Actors, Media people, Musicians etc are all included in the committee.
Some personalities from the creative industry were also in attendance. 3/4
The Nnewi Creative Industry is open for all Creatives with Nnewi and environs and also Nnewi people residing elsewhere to join.
At the end of the meeting, a motion of adjournment was moved to the 17th of March 2022.

At the Nnewi Creative Industry hangout yesterday, a Reverend Father who was invited by a veteran Lagos based movie producer from Nnewi revealed that he's been running a movie academy in Nnewi for two years now. He said a lot of people have graduated from the academy and

that they have produced about 12 standard movies so far.
He also said that what he does is actually secular movies.
The Reverend Father is part of Nnewi Creative Industry and has promised to contribute his own quota in building the industry

The Reverend Father talked about how he hosted an event in Nnewi for the creatives across South East a year ago at Ifeanyi Ubah stadium. He talked about how the budget for the event was in millions and how they recovered everything from just ticket sales. 3/4

A teaching hospital sitting on a temporary site which it has grown far bigger than.
The history of NAUTH, Nnewi.
Nnamdi Azikiwe University teaching Hospital Nnewi was created in the year 1991 after
Nnewi community people handed over their self built General hospital(Mbụli) to federal government for the purpose of serving as the temporary teaching hospital for the newly created Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
As time went on, more facilities were built both by individuals and the government. The hospital continued serving its purpose without pressure or discomfort until it got to a time the traffic started increasing and the need to relocate to the permanent site became obvious
