It's #EqualPayDay!

There is a lot of work to be done to eradicate the gender and race pay gap. So, let's start moving toward equality today.
Spoiler: There is a lot of work to be done to reach parity.
And... it's going to take some time to get there.
But, as you can see, society has made some big strides.
However, there are some places in the U.S. that need more help than others...
And when you look at the bigger picture, the issue is quite glaring.
The gender pay gay is just one piece of the puzzle. It's time to eradicate the race and ethnicity pay gap, as well.
What a wonderful equal world it could be.
All we have to do is work together to raise the minimum wage, make work environments safer and provide more employee protections. Let's get to it.

We should still “assume the worst,” @olex_scherba says, but there is one thing he believes the U.S. can give to Ukraine so they can win bit.ly/3IabGt3

EXCLUSIVE: MSNBC and Keith Olbermann were in lengthy discussions to fill the Rachel Maddow void on the network—until Maddow vetoed him herself. trib.al/sCmBMqa
Olbermann, who shaped MSNBC’s liberal voice before being canned more than a decade ago, was talking with NBCUniversal CEO Jeff Shell and news boss Cesar Conde about taking over the key 9 p.m. time slot, the former Countdown host told Source Material. trib.al/sCmBMqa
However, any dream of an Olbermann reunion was squashed when Rachel Maddow—who recently signed a massive $30 million deal to work less and transition out of her nightly broadcast—stepped in to personally veto him as her successor. trib.al/sCmBMqa

Ukraine’s capital was meant to fall in a matter of hours, if not days, and Zelensky was meant to be assassinated. And here we are on day 11, and he’s still alive—and a global hero. How? bit.ly/3HVCq0l
“I think the Ukrainians were right about themselves in a way that we were not, meaning that the Western nation has underrated them and underestimated them quite badly,"@michaeldweiss explains on today's @NewAbnormalPod episode bit.ly/3HVCq0l

There’s lots of changes in store for CNN, according to this week’s Source Material newsletter. Namely, surrounding new CNN honcho Chris Licht
thedailybeast.com/cnns-new-boss-…
Chris Licht doesn’t start until May, but he has already begun, according to two insiders familiar with the matter, making it known to Fox News that he is working towards a cease-fire on CNN’s aggressive coverage of them.

According to two people familiar with the situation, Chris Licht will work to tone down the often opinionated and emotional reporting from stars like Brianna Keilar, Jim Acosta, and especially Don Lemon, who currently hosts CNN’s late programming.
