These bills:

❌ limit what teachers and schools can say to students about race, ethnicity, and LGBTQ people
❌ undermine the safety and academic performance of students
❌ negatively impact the mental health of students, especially LGBTQ youth

Our schools should protect all students—including #LGBTQ students—so they can learn and thrive in a safe environment. These kinds of laws would force schools to violate that most basic trust.
