1/ TFM has launched the first trading aggregator on #Terra , for the benefit of all #LUNAtics and all the wonderful projects that are built. We are not just any aggregator, but a true routing aggregator that brings tremendous value. What does this mean? Let’s explain in this 🧵👇

2/ The simplest form of aggregator is price comparison. If you want to trade token A for B, all you need to do is to compare the rate you are getting from different DEXes, and pick the best rate. Sweet.

3/ But does that mean the rate that you are getting is the BEST possible rate?

Not necessarily. That is because there could be a hidden route that is spread across various DEXes which leads to an optimal price.

4/ What Terraformer has done is that its algorithm will search for all these cross-DEX routes, and return with the best one, which in many cases is superior to any single-DEX rate. This is more evident when the pair being traded are not a native liquidity pair on a DEX.

5/ Let’s look at one example. In this case, we are swapping LUNA for ANC @anchor_protocol . You can see that Terraformer shows the rates for all three major DEXes, but by choosing to do LUNA to UST on Astroport first, and then UST to ANC on Terraswap, we can get the best rate.

6/ The beauty is that it’s one-click for users, and it seeks to utilise all the liquidities on Terra DEXes in a much more efficient manner. Users get great experience and save money, DEXes get the volume through, and Terra gets more adoption. It’s WIN-WIN-WIN.
