Every Hindu on waking up ought to make some sankalpams:
1. I will see a Hindu as only a Hindu - language, caste, creed etc no bar.

2. I will protect every Hindu in my vicinity from bullying, conversion vultures, pseudo-seculars etc and defend them.
3. I will educate my children about the puranas and The Gita, to start with.

4. I will teach my children the real history of Hindus, their heritage and their persecutions.

5. I will also teach them about PREDATORY religions and to be watchful of doctrinal hate against Hindus.
6. I will enroll my children in Hindu schools, when available - steer clear of convent schools.

7. I will teach my children to recognize Hinduphobia in films and print media, and to make them recognize inherent western biases against India's culture.
8. I will speak up for every persecuted Hindu regardless of how "unsecular" it makes me look/feel. Truths need to be known.

9. I will not vote for politicians who are anti-Hindu, and will be an informed voter. I will exercise my right to vote.
10. I will wear my Hindu symbols (tilak, sindoor, mangalsutra, janeau, etc) with pride because this is my identity.

11. I will not be divided from my Hindu breathren on the basis of caste, creed etc. Every Hindu is my brother/sister.

12. I will support efforts to #freetemples
13. I will stop using phrases like "rest in peace" (not Hindu) and "holy cow" (derogatory to Hindus)

14. I will point out anti-Hindu words in common parlance and sensitize people to them.
15. I will treat everyone fairly regardless of religion, caste or creed but will not allow others to put down my religious practices as a Hindu.

16. When I do not know the meaning of a custom I will educate myself and my family/friends.

Please feel free to add...
17. I will boycott the films of actors and directors who are anti-Hindu.

18. I will boycott companies who erase Hindu symbols in their ads (FabIndia for eg), who give gyaan on Hindu festivals.

19. I will denounce anyone who attempts to divide Hindus on caste lines.
20. I will learn FACTS and refute with FACTS anyone spouting the much-debunked Aryan Invasion Theory.

21. I will teach my children the Hindu origins of Bharatnatyam, Yoga, Ayurveda etc and teach them about cultural appropriation.

22. I will not give to anti-Hindu charities
23. I will support goshalas, veda patashalas and recognize the importance of Samskritam in our Samskriti. I will respect Samskritam as much as my mother tongue, because many of our ancient texts are in Samskritam.

24. I will recognize anti-Samskritam folks as anti-Hindu.
25. If non-vegetarian, I will request non-halal meat in grocery stores and restaurants. Halal meat is causes max suffering to animal and discriminatory to non-Muslims coz it requires Muslim butcher.

26. I will boycott any and all halal products coz they are discriminatory.

1/n Wokism encourages a dangerous trend of anarchy that leads to breakdown of law and order.

I had written an earlier thread about Xian convents banning girl students from wearing bindi and flowers in hair. People may not like it and it is unfair but no one went on agitations
2/n In my college in the 80s saree was compulsory and we didn't like it. No one went on agitations and involve political parties. Yes, legally other clothing was permitted in India but no one went on an agitation over uniform.

Uniforms/dress codes are a rule that we may not like
3/n But that is no reason to bring cities and nation to a standstill and involve political parties and spawn hashtags.

If you don't like uniform, talk to the college authorities. Or go to a religious institution to study. This study period is temporary anyway so get on with it.

1/n #Hinduphobia in Telugu film industry has gone to the extent of producing well-made blockbusters with A list actors mouthing Hinduphobic lines.

I am talking about the moving 'Shyam Singha Roy' starring Nani and Sai Pallavi, both excellent actors.
2/n The film is well made with a grippingly told story. Yet, the Hinduphobia and the Brahmin hatred comes through, and the director's mind-colonized mentality is very visible in the way he has portrayed the 'reformist' hero (Christian word, refer to @jsaideepak's book)
3/n Main story is set in the 1960s. There is a scene where dalits are denied access to a well as they are deemed unclean.

While untouchability as a practice existed in India the villains are Brahmin men with janeau, and the 'reformist' hero says "This is not your Rig Veda time'

1/n Attending 9 different schools growing up because of a parent's frequent transfers gave me a unique perspective.

Depending on the area we moved to, I was enrolled in a Hindu/general or Christian school, based on which one had a better reputation.
2/n All of the schools I attended, per the general culture of private schools in India, had uniforms and school badges.

Prayers were Hindu or Christian, per the school's wish. I was okay with both and of course all students complied.
3/n All schools I attended were English medium schools, where except for a language class or two, subjects were taught in English.

A difference I found in the two schools is the respect given to a student's faith, and the student's native language.

1/n With a likely new administration in January, I sure hope that the US does not start anymore wars in the Middle East, Venezuela or elsewhere.

Past wars were waged under some 'moral' pretext or other on oil-rich Middle East countries. Ended in disaster everywhere.
2/ GWB took out Saddam and it created the ISIS monster. Obama armed ISIS to take on Assad whose regime the US wanted to change. They cooked up some story about Assad gassing his people.

Tulsi who found and reported the truth of people's support for Assad was smeared.
3/ WikiLeaks vindicated Tulsi's stand.

Wars in the middle east create refugees from these theocratic states. The refugees who are used to theocratic laws pour into secular nations. They don't want to assimilate, and want their theocratic "God-ordained laws".

Look at the crowd!! For a cartoon! So many kidnappings of underage minority girls, rape, forcible conversion and forced marriage. Not one protest.

But a cartoon in France brings such a crowd.
opindia.com/2020/11/bangla…
2/ It is a whole different mindset. Where Yazidi rapes and killings are not protested, where minorities are killed and abused and treated inhumanely, and no protests for that.

Where 'intellectuals' speak in support of beheading a teacher. And worldwide protests for a cartoon.
3/ This mindset is incompatible with free societies, where religious and gender freedoms are practiced, and freedom is enshrined.

Free societies should NOT allow adherents of this intolerant ideology to infiltrate. Education does not reform this mindset. Nor does wealth.

1/ I have a theory why leftists and Islamists are together. Leftists' "solidarity" with working classes can draw large crowds. Islamists have petrodollars. So Islamists routinely cry that they are 'oppressed'. Leftists pledge solidarity, Islamists money runs their campaigns
2/ Islamists end goal is to make the world a caliphate. To do that they need to enter as many open societies as possibly, using diversity, multiculturalism and shutting down any debate with the fake word 'Islamophobia'. Then they form enclaves, elect reps, and get into politics
3/ Leftists want campaign money, know that Islamists hate pagan faiths like Hinduism, so leftists indulge in Hinduphobia and call Hinduism 'oppression' while ignoring thetreatment of women and minorities by Islamic states. Islamists use leftists to gain political power gradually.
