I spent much of the day traveling through military checkpoints in southern Ukraine.
While traveling, I saw a children's playground, surrounded by anti-tank obstacles, sandbags and hasty concrete fighting positions... because it was located near a major road.

In Odesa, in this region, soldiers have written in spray paint what they’re fighting for.
