β›” How to protect your eyes as a coder?

β›” How to keep healthy for your eyes as a web programmer?

A ThreadπŸ§΅β‡©
β›” Note:

πŸ“Œ I am not a doctor, just share this guide on the basis of my research and ability.

πŸ“Œ I will share my used tools for caring for my eyes as well as some personal guidance on it.

Let's start...
πŸ“Œ Drink water more and more!

β†’ As we already know that approx 60% of water is in our bodies.

β†’ Drinking water will help flush out salt or harmful element in the body and properly hydrate your eyes to help reduce eye strain.
β†’ And due to this, you may have to go to the washroom again and again.

β†’ This is also beneficial for taking a break from the computer screen.
πŸ“Œ Reduce screen time.

β†’ After completing your work, do not look at tv or smartphone.

β†’ Try to do some extra activities and ignore digital screens.
πŸ“Œ Try to work in proper lighting

β†’ You should try to work in a properly lighted workspace.

β†’ It helps in reducing strain on your eyes.

β†’ Do not work in the dark workspace.
πŸ“Œ Adjust the brightness of the screen

β†’ For sunlight, the workspace tries to increase the screen brightness.

β†’ And for some dark light workspace try to decrease the screen brightness.
πŸ“Œ Turn on the blue light or night light

β†’ Try to turn on the blue light on your computer.

β†’ Or you can use tools like flux.

justgetflux.com
πŸ“Œ Adjust the spacing between your eyes and screen

β†’ Try to keep the distance between your computer screen and face approx 15 to 30 inches.
πŸ“Œ Follow 20:20:20 rules

β†’ After using 20 minutes of the computer screen, try to look at approx 20 feet or more for 20 seconds.
πŸ“Œ Wear a blue light computer protection glass

β†’ You can also wear blue light protection glass or Spectacle.
πŸ“Œ Make the text larger

β†’ Make the text of your IDE or any website larger as much as possible.
πŸ“Œ Try to slow blink your eyes.

β†’ Try to blink your eyes as much as possible or perform a slow blink.
πŸ“Œ Read articles into dark mode.

β†’ Try to read articles or pdf into dark mode.

πŸ›  Tools for dark mode:

Website: darkreader.org
Pdf: Adobe Acrobat DC
πŸ“Œ Fill your mouth with water

β†’ Try to fill your mouth with water, then slowly raid your eyes with water.

πŸ”₯ Design a hoverable background like this using only 2 lines of code.

πŸ‘€πŸ‘‡
πŸ“Œ This background is "before" pseudo-element.

πŸ“Œ Just you have to scale the background from 0 to 1. Image
