2️⃣Feels like the skin on your tight being peeled over and over
3️⃣Feels like your uterus will be burst anytime or being blown like a balloon
4️⃣ Feels like bags of rice being place on your back or half of your body from your waist downwards is being replaced with bags of cement
5️⃣ feels like they’re grilling your back in the oven or someone is stabbing you in the uterus.
What’s endometriosis? It’s a painful condition causing the lining of your uterus to grow outside the uterus.
Pregnancy is not a cure for endometriosis. However , being pregnant may provide temporary relief from symptoms but it’s not the cure for the condition. Delaying pregnancy is not a cause of endometriosis either.
There’s difficulty to diagnose Endometriosis. The only definitive way to know is through laparoscopy by a skilled medical personnel who knows what to look for. 8.5yrs is the average but it can take up to 12 years to get diagnosed. Make sure you deal with a health specialist.
The financial cost to the world of endometriosis is expensive, similar to that of diabetes. It’s estimated to be US$10,762 per woman per year. There is no cure for endometriosis. It’s not a rare disease. It affects 10% of reproductive-aged women. That’s 176 million women globally
Endometriosis affects the immune system but it isn’t an autoimmune disease. Although the caused isn’t known, most likely genetics plays a role. If someone in your family have it and you suspect similar symptoms, check up with a doctor.
