We got a little carried away today on the veggies at #chezfrantzman…
We chopped up carrot, zucchini, broccoli, sweet potato and added whole mushrooms for some tempura. We coated it and fried in batches in hot vegetable-sesame oil.
Then we also took radish, cucumber, carrot and seaweed and sprinkled black sesame seeds, sesame oil, soy sauce and dash of salt for a salad; snd then made a cucumber salad with black sesame seeds, rice vinegar; and we steamed some mushrooms, carrot and broccoli and
quick fried with sesame oil and soy sauce…served with some tamari-ginger sauce…it was fun.
My basic philosophy behind food is not only I like to use basic ingredients to make recipes I like from restaurants while improving my process and skills; but I want to be able to get up in the morning and imagine a meal and make it happen.
I got tired of going out to eat snd having flavorless food, gross food with too much oil that sat around probably for days or was reheated or lacks any real feeling.
I said Im going to make all those things at home. I’ll buy good ingredients and lots of things to serve snd cook with, and learn something new everyday and improve bit by bit.

Appears to be another terror attack in Israel this evening as a man with a rifle shot at people in Bnei Barak; this is the third in a week; questions should be asked where he got the rifle also. The attackers in Hadera also apparently had illegal firearms. m.jpost.com/breaking-news/…
This is the issue; so far the other two were internal Israeli attacks, not from WB or Gaza or Jerusalem, and appear to be radicalized locally; not connected to Palestinian organized terror groups (i.e Hamas)…of course we don’t know enough yet about tonight’s attack
Iran’s goal is always to impoverish countries so they have to depend on Iran. Every Iranian ally and partner is either impoverished or works to erode the state and make it poor, like Hezbollah in Lebanon, Houthis in Yemen, the Iran part of Assad regime; KH in Iraq
Wherever there is Iran in the Middle East, you will never find a new university or major infrastructure investments in new airport and new restaurants snd shopping center snd commerce and roads; instead Iran operates to destroy everything and make people rely on Iran
That’s why in Iraq areas where pro-Iran militias dominate you have poverty and chaos. Iran’s tentacles are there to ruin. Of course KRG has to be hampered by Iran, because KRG is successful.
But can anyone explain the route of the pipeline? I welcome a map showing how exactly you get a pipeline from Israel around Lebanon and Syria…and whether Cyprus is on board…because it seems an elephant in the room?
I mean the goal of Turkey here would be to cement control of Northern Cyprus in this manner and wreck Israel’s Cyprus ties and harm Israel Greece ties…which is always Turkey’s goal: isolate Israel, harm Greece-Cyprus
Be of course the REAL goal of Ankara is to hold Israel hostage then in the future, cutting off the pipeline if Israel doesn’t do what Ankara wants 🤔
So this is the third time in the Ukraine war that Russia demonstrably brought up nuclear options; this is all geared to cater to Western media news cycle, reuters.com/world/kremlin-…
So the “reason” for this Iran attack on Erbil has shifted again, first we were told it was targeting US in response to IRGC deaths in Syria, then targeting “Mossad” and now energy trade 🤔 reuters.com/world/middle-e…
“Iraqi and Turkish officials who spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity this week said they believe the attack was meant as a multi-pronged message to U.S. allies in the region - that a key trigger was a plan to pump Kurdish gas into Turkey and Europe, with Israel's involve”
They “believe” it was…meaning they are spreading this rumor for what reason? Who benefits?
Someone posted about food on the frontline in Ukraine…and all I could think of was food on the Peshmerga frontline…so here is one for nostalgia…#Kurdistan
At the headquarters near the front the spread was a bit bigger
