Blades and Youngblood consistently paint their supporters as "parents" and their detractors as anything else. It is an ad hominem attack to justify their own highly politicized ban, and to ignore the opposition, which is predominantly people of color.
A community member took the time to undermine and insult them during the March Study Session, and someone threatened the venue of a fundraiser causing the restaurant to cancel.
DO NOT GO AFTER THE KIDS. Plain and simple. They are capable, independent, and sharing their lived experience, not some fantasy.
