Tomorrow we’re going to talk about ethics & money on twitch.tV/barnacules (3pm Pacific) and why good people are driven to do bad things though self manipulating using false logic & invalid justification to override their common sense & morality blinded by greed. 🤔 #LiveStream
This is a topic not many content creators talk about because they rely on sponsorships from terrible products that are akin to multilevel marketing scams because they pay the most money since their profit margins are insanely high selling garbage people normally wouldn’t buy.
Obviously not all content creators do this but it’s super alluring when bad companies pay 2-20x more sponsorship fees than reputable companies. The reason they can afford to pay so much more is because their margins are huge from pushing garbage abusing the content creators trust
One of the biggest by far is RAID Shadow Legends which is a pay-2-win mobile game based on a cookie cutter engine owner by a casino game manufacturer. However, it’s not advertised that way & content creators are forbidden from telling the truth & encouraged to lie 🤦♂️
Another big one is Raycon ear buds. These are insanely cheap Chinese ear buds with garbage drivers & electronics sold for $80-$150. Content creators get paid $20-30 per pair sold which is insane. Content creators just read the script.

The trick to combatting scammers & spammers at scale isn’t to block, delete or ignore them but rather engage them with adversarial bots that lure them & follow their breadcrumb trail by emulating real humans making real victims harder to find than needles in a haystack @MKBHD 😈
What I would start with is creating a matrix of all the common tells of a scam bot & use regular expressions to classify & weight them.
Ex.
- Account name contains social network name or abbreviation
- Message contains reference to other platform
- Emoji Pointers
- Dupe Posts
Then I would create a few
thousand accounts on each
platform using scripts to
automate speech to text to
resolve captchas (their weak
spot) & roll IP's through TOR or
VPN to avoid bot detection using
scammers own tricks. I'd use
face generator to make unique
profile images 😎
I prayed to Jesus before I went to sleep last night and magically woke up this morning and my back is %100 cured and all my medical issues went away. I also checked my crypto account and an anonymous person sent me 100 $BTC 🙌
Praise Jesus! ⛪✝️
APRIL FOOLS! 😂 Still hurting like hell and going broke 😉
It's okay though, I'm not mad. I sleep easier knowing the universe just has rules & I drew the short straw rather than believing that some omnipotent being that created everything with infinite powers thinks my suffering is funny while helping others win the lotto 😉
It’s absolutely insane how much trust we place on technology when we don’t understand just how vulnerable it is. Ignorance is bliss until your Tesla drives your family into a wall at 150mph if you don’t send $btc to attackers in time or your hospital gets ransomware 😬
Just take a few minutes to look at some of your internet connected devices around your house and think of worst case scenarios if someone had absolute control over it and how they could hurt you or blackmail you or worse 🤔
Imagine a hacker training a deepfake AI on videos from your facebook & then doing the same with your bosses wife’s & digitally replace the background with pictures of your bedroom extracted from other social media posts. Technology is getting scary isn’t it 😮
I have to say that #NFT is one of the most lied about & misunderstood crypto technologies. The main people profiting from them are scammers, not artists! Most people buying them don’t even realize they are buying a URL & not the art! Also avoid @opensea 🛑
Even if you’re personally not interested in #NFT please retweet posts you see talking about scams and how the truth about the technology so you’re friends and family don’t get robbed 🙏
I even purchased an NFT myself just to better understand the process and it’s legitimately bad & scammy. Also, there is no legal recourse for anyone selling stolen content meaning it’s difficult to know if you’re buying something authorized by the real artist. Avoid it.
It sure would be cool if there was more money in honesty than being deceptive… 🤔
Please support people and businesses that place honesty above deceptive hyperbolic fomo bullshit 🙏
What truly bothers me is that people are so used to be lied to and manipulated into buying stuff that influencers can justify these deceptive practices on the grounds that everyone does it and everyone knows the scam so it’s no big deal 🤦♂️
Want to stop getting demonetized or delisted on YouTube? This list of banned words is a good place to start 🙏 I personally verified if you get demonetized right after publish or live notifications won’t go out to subscribers unless they “rang the bell” 🤦♂️ docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u…
I confirmed this by having a banned word in my title for #TechTalk a few weeks ago which lead to notifications not going out & 1/3rd our normal live viewership. Also, it didn’t show up when searching #TechTalk after stream ended in an incognito windows but our old episodes did 🤔
Also, YouTube seems to lessen your entire channels SEO if you have to many public videos denied monetization. I would recommend fixing words & requesting audits or just setting videos to private that are flagged just to reduce potential impact to your other content IMHO 🤔
