(2 of 2) ...roller coaster POV videos on IG even though I get motion-sick easily and hate roller coasters. So it was very much to my surprise when I heard a song in one such coaster video that I cannot get out of my head despite its lyrics, which are NSFW:
(PS) I feel like, if she *hadn’t* exempted the dog, I wouldn’t be okay with this song? But she went ahead and left the dog *out*, so I think a part of me was instantly like—in a sort of fussy, British way—“Well, then I’m quite certain she has *good reasons* for being so angry...”

How the &%$! did I *not* know that Trump co-conspirator Pete Sessions’ dad was Semion Mogilevich’s *lawyer*?

Mogilevich is the international head of the Russian mafia.

I am... going to need a *lot* of time to process this.
Oh, and PS—!—do you know when Trump’s co-conspirator’s dad *stopped* being the attorney for the Russian mafia?

When he passed away 21 months ago.

So he was the lawyer for the Russian mafia for the *entirety* of the Trump-Russia, Trump-Ukraine, and Trump-Venezuela scandals. Wow.

So odd to watch a man ranting at a rally who should be in prison, but I guess this is how the reporters who visited Jonestown felt

(I’m not there of course—a Trump rally is a prefabricated public health disaster and should be avoided like a superfund site—but I’m watching clips)
When an ex-POTUS tells a 100% made-up story about a former Secretary of State privately acknowledging the 2020 election as “stolen” and expressing private anger at the Democrats not being willing to “steal” 2016 for her, what is that? A conspiracy theory? A lie? A joke? Dementia?
You think I’m joking; I’m not. I’m asking the question seriously. Trump has concocted a series of events that he has *no evidence* of any kind ever happened, and now he is using them as a sort of narrative “base” on which to *build* new fictions and sub-fictions. It is so creepy.

An entire party without conscience.

Which nevertheless *expects* your vote in November.

The Republican Party never ceases to turn the stomach.
There is no keep-the-cost-of-insulin-high campaign among voters. The only reason almost the entirety of the House GOP caucus opposed lowering the cost of insulin is they want that sweet sweet corporate cash—and care not a whit how many dead bodies they have to stand on to get it.
If you’re voting against lowering the cost of insulin, the issue isn’t primarily that you don’t deserve to be reelected—though it goes without saying that you don’t deserve to be reelected.

The *main* issue is that you’re a PoS. And anyone who knows you should be ashamed of you.

My understanding is that there was never going to be coordination between DOJ and the Committee, in fact we’ve never even heard of any deconfliction processes. What really worries me is that none of these members of Congress have even heard a *whisper* that DOJ is doing anything.
I do want to say to readers that if in 2022 you think it’s possible for the most important DOJ investigation in U.S. history to unfold for over a year as to the most powerful politicians in the country and not one member of Congress knows anything about it, I *admire* your faith.
My worry for months now has been that the Democrats have secretly decided they *want* to run against Trump in 2024, and therefore don’t have the interest we might think they would in seeing him disqualified from running. Such an abdication of responsibility would be terrifying.
