1/ I am SURPRISED (ok, not really) that the discrepancy of the page count for the classified UAP report given to Congress last year is STILL some big issue.

Let me add some closing (for now) thoughts on the issue until new information, if ever, arrives.

theblackvault.com/documentarchiv…
2/ I like Mr. @LueElizondo, and feel we get along just fine behind the scenes, despite some differences of opinion. You would never guess from some garbage posted on #UFOTwitter by others, but I hope that much is true and he agrees.
3/ But, I was dismayed to see another interview bringing up the page count of the report, and taking jabs at #FOIA.

Not only were his remarks mischaracterized, but it fires up some of his nosiest fans, and of course, they come right after me immediately after he said it.
4/ One even urged his followers to tag me along w/ the video clip of Mr. Elizondo speaking about this and RT it to somehow prove something, even though he didn't even mention my name. Silliness.

But, let me break down a few things for those who care to follow this conversation.
5/ First, I got the partially declassified UAP report given to Congress through 32 CFR § 1704, an MDR process created for ODNI.

So, to argue a point about 5 U.S.C. § 552 which is the FOIA, shows we really aren't on the same page with what we are actually even talking about.
6/ I can see the "STOP PLAYING SEMANTICS GAMES" posts already, but I am sorry, despite the processes being similar, they just aren't. And it is frustrating to see all of this misrepresented about this story - because it is really important.

Why?
7/ Because, I actually think Mr. Elizondo is also right (yes, I said that, as I don't feel this is such a debate as some think), but there is a caveat.

When I wrote the story last year about the 17 page length, I tried to get Mr Elizondo on the record.

theblackvault.com/documentarchiv…
8/ I believed I knew why HE (because I think he was the most connected of all who came forward with "insider information") was maybe partially right, but wanted to discuss it. He did not, as his PR people said he wouldn't comment, so I let it go. I RESPECTED that.
9/ But, my caveat on why I feel he may also be right, in a way, is because of this (and this is just an educated guess/speculation): I believe when the mandate came down for the report to be created for a June of 2021 release, they tasked John F. "Jay" Stratton for the job.
10/ Stratton was the head of the UAP Task Force within the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). Although long assumed since I first wrote about him in 2019, I got confirmation via #FOIA at NASA.

My guess? Stratton's report was 70+ pages, which was then sent to ODNI.
11/ ODNI was then tasked to create the FINAL version to Congress out of those 70+ pages.

I would also venture to guess that Stratton & Elizondo remained friends, and communication continued to take place, which is likely where Mr. Elizondo heard about the report length.
12/ Another guess? Maybe Mr. Elizondo's connections don't stretch inside ODNI to keep tabs on the report length after it was delivered there for tasking, and he was not kept informed of any cut downs.
13/ But I bet once ODNI saw a 70+ page report - their first call to action was to "dumb it down" for Congress. The likelihood of them understanding it, let alone reading that many pages was nil.

17 page dumbed down version? I would say that still gets the point across and works.
14/ My MDR case went after THAT version of the report.

So, all that said, I believe and always have, that Mr. Elizondo could still be right about this, just in the wrong way.

The talk about "annexes" and "attachments" I have long addressed, but in short, they don't exist.
15/ At least, not in the version for Congress.

Therefore, Stratton's version (which I hope is not considered a draft for FOIA reasons) could be either a draft, or a report in itself which ODNI based their final version to Congress on.

You guys don't think I am going after that?
16/ I know the spin artists out there will run to defend Mr. Elizondo et al for having "never said that" or try to create drama by essentially fabricating details.

But, in the end, I just wish more conversation could be had.
17/ Despite what I keep seeing on social media, I've never said the FOIA was the "end all be all" in the 25+ years I've used it.

But I yearn for the day where discussion can shed light on the fact that maybe everyone can be a little bit right.

Even just that would be a win.

1/ I think my RT yesterday about calling others out for inaccurate information was misconstrued by some.

So, let me try to explain further the frustration that sparks posts like that.

This may be a long, but controversial, thread. But it needs to be said.

So, here goes.
2/ I truly mean no disrespect to ANY party, but I think @MiddleOfMayhem (I am NOT speaking for him) and his recent posts point out a trend. A trend that goes back to day one of visuals used to fit a narrative in this current UFO conversation. BUT they aren't accurately portrayed.
3/ And I truly mean DAY ONE of this current conversation.

In the original press conference in October 2017 that introduced Luis Elizondo to the world, a party balloon was shown to depict a tic-tac as Chris Mellon talked.

This, of course, was entirely inaccurate.

Moving on... Image

Leave it to me to request something from NRO years ago where they were met with a situation they had never been met with before. 👍

Reach for the stars... and settle for nothing less.

#FOIAGOALS
And yes, the request completed with a released (but redacted) document: theblackvault.com/documentarchiv…
Internally, the NRO also reached out to the CIA because I threw them for a loop with my request.

They also didn't like the fact I declined a release of only unclassified portions.

1/ (rt'ing for thread response)

My take is this: I would not say I endorse the whole disinfo op claim outlined in the article. I still need to see more supporting that, and have long said I do not buy it on that level. But there is much more to this story we don't know.
2/ What I will say in response to the claims here, is that there are NUMEROUS unanswered questions throughout the last few years connected to this entire saga.

We were told many things by TTSA and those connected to it, a lot of which is now proven untrue.
3/ For example, the "chain of custody" claims about the videos they released. The false use of a stock image representing metamaterials, which was of a rock. A CGI photo in a PowerPoint presentation told to the audience as a "real" photo. Etc. Etc.

1/ I know this tweet upset some, but let me add more to properly explain what I meant.

Legislative mandates, initiatives, bills, etc. are trumped by national security. I am EXCITED to see how this all plays out when it comes to UAP "transparency," but we need to be realistic.
2/ I posted yesterday how the 1960s played out very similar to today and we ended up with the Condon report. Will this be the same? I'm no fortune teller, nor is anyone, so who really knows? I just choose to be cautiously optimistic.

But, let me use a modern, non-UFO, example.
3/ President Trump, who sat in the highest office of the land, had the desire to release all JFK assassination files. He had a history of rocking the boat in D.C., and this appeared to be part of that intent.

However, national security won in the end, and secrecy prevailed.

😂 Look who apparently saw my recent #FOIA release, tracked me down on eBay and sent an unsolicited offer (I never contacted them).

How nice he took a cool 50 grand off so I can own it. Any takers out there? Halfsies? Image

The one image got cut off, but this is the auction as a reminder. Image

1/ Thank you to all those advocating for a respectful conversation on this between Richard & myself. There are some important issues long ignored and it's time to discuss. @RichDolan has had an open invite to be on my show w/ FULL permission to prove me wrong to my own audience.
2/ What I feel needs to be said, is I will 100% keep it respectful, as I did with Anthony Bragalia (despite that train wreck) and with @TheProjectUnity. It would not be a "pissing match" as Richard has said numerous times now. That is rubbing off on SOME of his followers...
3/ and this is completely an unfair summation. Never have I been rude to a guest on my show, and to pretend otherwise is a fantasy.

UFOlogy has come so far, and yet, gets set back so far because of silliness such as this.

My video exposed a major flaw in this entire narrative.
