It's called confirmation bias @davidfrum. Since your question wasn't to learn anything—it was to thrust your assumptions and White privilege onto natives.
That Modi spoke of it means the history is not "excluded." Yes, it carries trauma, much like Yezidi cannot "exclude" #ISIS.
And these narrative peddlers deny current violence against Hindus on their festivals, caught on camera, imagine how easy it is for them to spin events from 500 years ago.
Hindu processions were attacked all over the country. Their spin: they asked for it.
The fact is that totalitarian exclusive ideologies are common to Abrahamisms and the Left. They are simply unable to comprehend plural society which does not hold that "non-believers go to hell." All the Eurocentric concepts they apply are simply false.
The Happiness Report is based on the Cantril ladder:
"it asks respondents to think of a ladder, with the best possible life for them being a 10 and the worst possible life being a 0. They are then asked to rate their own current lives on that 0 to 10 scale."
This is so flawed. Those who are ranking themselves a 10 could have a very limited idea of what "best possible life" is. They could also be in a stagnant society with very little upside or optimism, in fact, a bit melancholic.
Would an Indic system ever rank happiness like this?
The Bahai say that India is one of the few countries that they don't face persecution. Why? Shouldn't all "minorities" be a target, just like they were in Church-governed Europe or Islamic states with "dhimmi" laws.
The template of "majoritarianism" comes from Christian Europe.
Majoritarianism is a factor when there is a dominant "exclusive" religion. The secular state was invented in Europe because majority Protestant states persecuted minority Catholics and vice versa. "Majoritarianism" is a Eurocentric idea—nonsense when applied to India.
The reality of our education. The way the system is designed, poor parents sacrifice a lot for the child's education. But for very many, it leads the child nowhere.
Now RTE forces this education, removing opportunity to learn skills via apprenticeship.
Our education does neither. Neither expands the heart, nor does it teach useful skills. These BAs in sociology, political science, even most engineering, MBA, what does it do? Does it nurture the spirit? Provide the skills to even run a vegetable cart?
They don't complain when Soros+Omidyar control the narrative. The "establishment" includes academia, media, NGOs, "fact checkers" and many agents of thought control.
If @elonmusk can challenge this, it's a big step for humankind. Not easy.
So what's your problem with Twitter as a private company under Elon making new rules?
This was part of Pat Robertson's AD2000 plan, started in the 1990s. It was to shift from foreign missionaries to local missionaries who are cheaper and more effective. They planned this. I started writing about this in 2002, no one paid attention.
The Joshua Project came out of AD 2000 project. They have a war plan to convert India. They've mapped every village, every community. Our response? "Ham sab ek hain" "Secular fabric kharab ho jayega". Such BS. There is a war and we close our eyes.
Absolutely. The “Dravidian” identity was constructed by Christian missionaries for the Conversion War. The DMK and its anti-Brahmin, anti-Hindu hate was fueled for that aim. Similar to Rwanda.
Unfortunately unlike in other places where the Left secular discourse challenges Church hegemony the biggest tragedy in India is that a the Left intellectual class has been appropriated as sepoys of the Church for the project of the extermination of native traditions.
