#mboutage The hit to our transmission system by wind and ice - causing galloping power lines - is over. Our task now is dealing numerous broken wood poles. hydro.mb.ca/safety/gallopi…
#mboutage (3/?) The worst damage is in the south-west up to the Parkland through to the Interlake. We’ve got dozens of wood poles down or broken that need to be replaced to get power back on.
#mboutage (4/?) We’re aiming to get the biggest number of customers back on as soon as we can and work our way down to more more isolated or individual outages. This will take us some time if there’s significant damage.
#mboutage (5/?) We know how frustrating it is to be without power as you begin the week. We’re working to get you back on as soon as we can, but there will be challenges still with poor rural roads & water/ice/slush in ditches & overland flooding
