#taekook #taekookau wherein;

jungkook looks at the timepiece hanging on the wall and it's 12 o' clock. its midnight.

"don't wanna go home, sir" taehyung mumbles.

and now jungkook isn't quite sure what he's supposed to do with his drunk employee except taking him to his home.

– (at jungkook's home)

jungkook placed taehyung on the bed, cold and velvety sheets engulfed taehyung's body while causing a few shivers down his torso.

and while jungkook detached his employee's shoes, he held no grudges being the boss.

– few loose strands of taehyung's hair were left liberated around his nose and it would be a lie if jungkook said that he didn't feel any butterflies at that moment.

jungkook's fingers kind of itched a bit too much to tuck those locks behind his ear.

and so he did.

– he thinks he really shouldn't cross this demarcated boundary of their office relationship.

but oh gosh taehyung is just so beautiful.

– it seems like god ordered a really very expensive set of canvas to assemble taehyung's features.

he's exactly one of those mens about which they explain in those fictional books.

he's unreal.

– holding his feelings beneath his heart and encircling around those margins of their employee-boss relations, jungkook took a turn and stomped softly over his feets to leave taehyung's room but he felt a snug hand wrapping around his waist.

– "sir, don't leave me alone — please jungkookie"

jungkook's heart clenched his epitome.

"oh tae, why did you drink so much?"

"because of you"

"me?"

"you broke my heart"

– jungkook raised his brows in confusion while he was stroking taehyung's soft brown hair with his digits.

"but why would i break your heart?" jungkook faked a giggle.

"i saw you holding hands today with a female in your cabin"

– and this time, jungkook didn't fake a giggle but actually laughed out quite loudly.

"oh tae, i think you misunderstood the whole scene and especially you misinterpret the person, she's actually my cousin"

– taehyung blurted out a huge gasp as he tried opening his bleary eyes but failed in doing so due to the immense headache he was going through.

seeing the marks of jealousy encircled around taehyung's pupil, jungkook asks;

"but why does that affect you though?"

– "why wouldn't it affect me?"

jungkook looks at taehyung with a smile painted on his face ,taehyung, who's struggling to say something further but because of his headache due to the intake of alcohol and drowsy voice, he fails.

– jungkook leans in forward and presses his head against taehyung, while whispering;

"i know you love me tae and it made me happy to see my baby jealous today"

oh what a tease jeon jungkook is.

– placing a kiss over taehyung's forehead, softly jungkook mutters;

"sleep for now, we'll talk tomorrow morning"

and after saying this, he departs to leave taehyung alone so that he can sleep peacefully.

– (next morning)

taehyung's nose tingles with a pleasant vanilla aroma floating in the room which eventually makes him wake up.

his foggy eyes are met with jungkook's, who just opened his mouth to say;

"here is your favorite morning vanilla latte tae"

– "b-boss?"

taehyung rubbed his eyes immensely as he got up on his toes hurriedly.

"oh god sir, im really very sorry, i just recalled that last night you took me to your home because i was so drunk" +

"yeah and why did you drink so much?"
jungkook rolled the corners of his lips, forming a twit smirk.

– "i..i —

"let me tell you that why were you here"

placing the cup of the vanilla latte on the nightstand, jungkook slants forward towards taehyung and holds his shivering hand

– taehyung can swore to write a thousand words on how mushy and gentle jungkook's hands were.

"you were jealous, weren't you?"

as each word kept slipping out of jungkook's mouth and his footsteps came further and closer towards taehyung.

– now remained just a distance of few inches while jungkook mumbled inside taehyung's ears;

"and most importantly, i know that you—love me tae

taehyung gulps.

so why to say sorry for being at my home? when you can stay here forever"

– their chests pressed together and taehyung gently closed his eyelids with the expectation of getting kissed on the lips, but instead he felt soft lips stacking over his hands.

– and by the time he unfurled his eye lashes, he saw his boss kneeling on his knees while holding one of his hands.

– "i love you kim taehyung, will you accept me as your boyfriend?"

taehyung felt a sudden wave of heat gushing down his stomach, his eartips tinted with bright red as he replies;

"yes boss"

"don't call me that, call me baby, my name is baby for you"

and they chuckled.
