Here's five products with breakdowns you could launch in this niche ππΌ
Every week I break down a niche on here with product ideas, pricing etc, and include the factory links in my newsletter.
My goal: help new entrepreneurs learn how to make their own differentiated products and take advantage of the consumer shift towards smaller brands.
A quick scroll through Tik Tok can easily give you a dozen product concepts, and show you just how big the targeting group for online ads or influencer posts is.
It's essentially endless.
This is a huge opportunity, even in a saturated space, to find an angle.
Now, onto the products.
We're going to break my cardinal rule of "no electronics products until you've done this multiple times" because... sometimes you just need to live a little.
Electric milk steamer -- $19, 1k MOQ (minimum order quantity), custom logo and packaging.
I 100% believe you could make real money with this milk frother form factor in cool color combos (gradients, patterns etc).
You can order without customization in as low as 2 for $6/e. 500+ for custom, 1k full custom with package and you're at $4.
This is a winner.
A simpler project:
Custom printed glass with a bamboo lid/metal straw combo.
100 MOQ with custom print, $2/e. 500 MOQ for custom package.
Fun patterns + sustainable angle is a layup.
Espresso machine for $47 at 1k MOQ.
This is a hard one to believe it doesn't suck, but certainly worth evaluating.
Shipping is sub $50 a unit at scale so imagine a custom form factor over this shell that you could retail for sub $500...
Influencers are constantly using square and odd sized containers, and I've seen multiple brands sell these.
This clear milk carton style bottle with a simple print job is another low minimum order quantity low cost.
200 MOQ, $2 each printed.
Run it!
What do you do with these ideas?
- Order a factory sample thru Alibaba
- Develop design, form factor & function customizations to help set it apart
- Get another sample to your exact standard
- Plan for your packaging and shipping logistics
- Calculate cost/profit & order
I hope you're inspired to kick off a product project!
I will send all the factory links to these in my Wednesday newsletter, subscribe if you want the direct plugs!
How to do an influencer drop like MSCHF did for the big red boots for your brand
This drop might be played out, but the tactics are BEST IN CLASS. You should use them
Here's a masterclass in coordinated influencer drops π§΅
First, doing a coordinated influencer content drop like this require both time and money, but luckily this is RELATIVE money to the size and scale you are at.
Don't try to do this for free, use your resources and do it right.
1st you need an anchor influencer. This person is paid, and is the focus of the initial campaign.
MSCHF did this with Sara Snyder. Your goal here is to
a. pay for access to someone your target customer knows visually that helps propel virality

2. Macro level goals for your content

Luxury brands take in an average of 200% more operating profits than their mid-market counterparts.
And many are proving more recession resilient.
Here's my playbook for launching a new luxury brand: π§΅
If you want to charge a premium, these are the categories:
Performance - Emphasis is on quality first and foremost
Designer - Aesthetics and function differentiate if from the standard
Luxury - Quality and aesthetics with high desirability + consistent performance over time
At a macro level, luxury comes down to a few key concepts
- a relentless obsession with quality in all things both product and marketing that a brand does
- resale, useage or signaling drivers that make products more like investments
- consistent execution over a long period
