What does football means to you?
Football means life to me

How did you start?
I started playing grassroots football at Ajegunle. That was where the journey started. My first coach was John Iremiren popularly known as Tall Coach. He had a lot of impact on me.
Did your parents support your football dream?

Yes, they did especially my father. He bought me my first ever football boot. So I had his optimum support to pursue a career in football.

Your first big break
Moving from First Bank to Warri Wolves in 2015. I was very happy. Image
NPFL Journey
From Warri Wolves, I moved to @SunshineFCAkure and then also played for @LobiStars

Move Abroad
From Lobi stars I moved to Tunisia to play for @StadeTunisien. Covid-19 affected alot, hence, It didn't work out well at the Tunisian club. ImageImageImageImage
Been one of the most paid player in the team, I had to move to Maghreb Association Sportive in Morocco or call it Mas Fez.

Difference Between NPFL and Tunisian/Moroccan League
There is a big difference. You can't compare the facilities and welfare to what we have in the NPFL. ImageImage
Did you envisage coming back to the NPFL this early?
No, I didn't see that coming. I and the President of my club, Mas Fez had some indifferences and the best way to make peace is for me to leave the club. Remo Stars came into the fold, I am happy to be part of the team. ImageImage
Are you surprised with what Remo stars is achieving this season?

To be candid, I am surprised. The boys are playing well and getting results. I never thought we could be at this level but the team has been great.
Your lowest moment in your career

My lowest moment was when coach Solomon Ogbeide died in 2019. He was like a father to me. Infact he was the one that kept pushing me to do more. His death pained me a lot.
Highest moment

It was also in 2019, when I was invited to be part of the home based @NGSuperEagles team to play against Togo.
It was a great moment in my career. I scored two goals in the second leg as we defeated Togo by 2-0 but it wasn't enough as we crashed out 4-3 aggregate. ImageImage
Did you ever think you will become a professional footballer?

I never thought I could be. I was just playing football like any football loving kid. Football is a normal thing so I just kept playing till the breakthrough came.
I am happy I am fulfilling my dream. Image
If you didn't become a professional footballer?

I would have become a military officer. My mother actually wanted me to become one but football said No.

C'est fini

Football means freedom, it means passion
The Journey
It started when I was little and early. Playing football on the street, I started getting invite from teams. So I took it up like that and I decided to put all my mind and everything in there.
I had trial with @LiepajaFK. I signed a contract with them in the 2019/2020 season but due to financial issues, I couldn't continue the contract.
I came back from Latvia and pitched tent with @RemoStarsSC.
I was part of the players that got them promoted. Image
