he saw the members keep talking about scheduling their vlives and said he could technically have reserved a slot in between yesterday 😅

but he also thought that if carats really wanted to see all the vlives (bc they love all the members), it’d be hard for them to catch them all in a short time period. so minghao felt a little bad about taking up so much of carats’ time

and minghao thought it’d be good to space it out a bit to let carats also take the time to do other things in their lives, like school and work and personal things

he said he thought “let’s let carats also take care of their personal lives and have their own time too”, so he reserved his own vlive spot for today in advance!

- minghao also talked about catching the other members’ vlives in the past couple of days and said that he didn’t know woozi could talk for that long (woozi did vlive for a total of ~6 hours 😭)

- minghao said that even while spending the entire day in quarantine, he feels like he doesn’t have enough time. since last year, he had to quarantine a lot, but he thinks it’s nice to rest in a “regulated” space since he can do the things he wants

- minghao said he’s been watching the drama ‘my liberation notes’! he thinks it’s really nice because it tells a story a lot of people can relate to. the story can be frustrating/sad but at the same time, it also gives healing and a feeling of empathy

- he particularly really liked the quote from the drama “let’s respect each other”, because it asks people to be more considerate of each other. he also likes the word “갈망” (yearning/longing) which comes up in the story a lot

- he said he thinks that while people can yearn/long for something on their own, the best thing is to also give love and respect to each other, because it’s an act of also giving strength to others when they need

minghao replied rather than “doing their best”, he thinks the standard for one’s own self should be doing things so that they won’t have regrets, rather than doing the “best” to a standard decided by someone else

- minghao said that you don’t have to demand “the best” of yourself, he thinks it’s more important to make sure you don’t have regrets

minghao said he sometimes feels sad… but he still has to do what he has to, because he doesn’t have the courage to run away and also knows his responsibilities.

- a staff member just dropped by and gave minghao some water! minghao said he normally drinks about 1.5 liters of water per day, and he asked the staff to bring him some more earlier (since he also needed it for his tea ceremony)

- a carat told minghao that if he falls in love with someone someday, they hope he’ll give them as much love as he gives carats now 🥺💖

+ minghao said that he’s really thankful for their words… but he also thinks that there are different types of love that one can genuinely give to different people (like love for a mother vs. love for a friend),

and that all those types of love are valid as long as it’s given sincerely

since all people are different from each other, minghao thinks the types of love given to each person should also be different and special to those people

- minghao said that while preparing for seventeen’s comeback this time, he thought a lot about his job as an idol and how he should go about being an idol from now on, how he can continue to express his passion as an idol and until when he can keep doing that…

minghao responded there’s no right or wrong-

he said if that method suits you best, then it’s a good way of living. minghao said sometimes he’ll also want to live without thinking (while focusing only on his responsibilities), just like jeonghan said. but since their personalities are different, it’s harder for him
