🧵So, I took a look at the #Buffalo shooter's manifesto from an antisemitism point of view and here are some observations in no particular order:

Note: He doesn't make any particuarly insightful or new claims (not surprisingly) but he does draw from a very broad variety of sources and forms of antisemitism.

The shooter devotes 29 pages (out of 180) to a long form recital of a wide variety of antisemitisms.

In the Q&A section, he explicity describes himself as an antisemite, fascist, and neo-Nazi.

He quotes directly from the infamous Nazi antisemitic children's book, Der Giftpilz (the Poisonous Mushroom).research.calvin.edu/german-propaga…

The influence of the Protocols of Zion is unmistakable, though he doesn't seem to quote them directly.

The shooter covers all the bases from conspiracy, to perceived over-representation of Jews, to the accusation that Jews were behind slavery/porn, etc.

He quotes from Mein Kampf about Jewish media presence and illustrates it with images of Jews from animated TV shows.

The manifesto also includes Holocaust denial (not surprisingly).

One new (to me) element here is a claim that Hews are also behind "transgenderism." But it is part of a larger antisemitic trope of Jews as promoters of transgressive sexuality.

This was just a cursory summary to lay out the antisemitic elements. But the larger point here is that, while he clearly targeted Black Americans, antisemitism still a critical part of white supremacy and ties together homophobia, transphobia, and xenophobia.
