Delhi High Court will hear today the petition by AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj seeking SIT inquiry into the alleged attack by the members of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha at the residence of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal

In the last hearing, the court had pulled up the Delhi Police for its failure to prevent the vandalism. The court has asked it to file a report on the security arrangement outside the CM's resident in a sealed cover.

Advocate Sanjay Lao appears for the Delhi Police and seeks adjournment in the matter since the affidavit is yet to be verified by the ASG.

Mr Lao seeks more time to file status report. Since ASG is not available for a few days, he submits that the security at CM residence has been beefed up. He further submits that proposal to curtail entry on the road is also under consideration.

Let the status report be filed by next date. Next hearing is on 30 May. Report to be filed in sealed cover.

SC: The SSC had recommended 28 members. This was done by Justice Khanwilkar committee. But you took 22 and 6 from main list. why did not you take from main list

Delhi High Court will hear shortly #JNU student Sharjeel Imam's bail plea in a sedition case against him.
Imam has approached the court seeking bail after the Supreme Court order to keep the proceedings in sedition cases in abeyance.
