Dude is always projecting.
This is why Clyde is throwing tantrums today. Plus #TSLA dropped 7% today.

The #TSLA stock has dropped 40% in the last 6 weeks, entirely due to its CEO's random tantrums and also selling billions in the stock himself, while he rants at the world for saying the stock is overvalued.

Any other CEO would've been fired by now.
Simple timeline

April 4 - Tesla at almost 1150
April 14 - Musk does his stunt of Pretending to buy Twitter. Media goes crazy. Not Wall Street
May 18 - Tesla is at almost 700

You really have to be a brainwashed Elon simp to still defend the dude. He's destroying Tesla. ImageImage

If this supposed groundswell of faith in Elon's magical power is actually grassroots organic, why does #TSLA keep dropping like a rock? Cos it's not really a grassroots sentiment. It is very much astroturfing.

Why Elon's Twitter bots excuse is also classic projection.
You don't really need a PhD in marketing with your dissertation in social media analytics to notice the utterly "IT cell" or Clickfarm nature of the Muskbois on Twitter. Even if you don't tag or hashtag, some account will show up in minutes to defend him. Like it's their job.

Not just Tesla investors. And overwhelming majority of Tesla customers are also liberals. Until recently, buying a Tesla was a green liberal gesture.

He's alienated that base this year. Republicans aren't into electric cars.

Two years ago when we were on the market for a new car for the first time in a decade, we seriously considered Tesla. Didn't buy it cos we live in an apartment, so charging it at home was not an option. Bought a Subaru.

Today, we wouldn't even consider Tesla cos Elon. 🤷🏽‍♂️

An interesting contrast between my two countries.

In American high schools, the affluent kids come by themselves or are dropped off by parents, and cash strapped kids take the school bus.

In India, school buses are generally an affluent kid thing. Working class on their own.
Broadly speaking of course.
Yup, vans or even auto rickshaws, packed like sardines. Or braving deathly Indian traffic on bicycles.

School buses are the rich person thing. Just like the term "public school" means the exact opposite in the two countries.

I guess the best advice you can give aspiring young actors nowadays is to try to be born in a well connected family?
Even Lin Manuel Miranda, the inevitable EGOT, and doubtless talented guy, was helped immensely by coming from a connected family. Given how networking heavy the NYC-DC-Hollywood world is, it's not surprising I guess. Even Tucker Carlson, Elon Musk, silver spoon kids.

Random political flashback. 2008 primary season when everyone was pretending that Fred Thompson was the next Reagan, he started driving a pickup truck. And he was so visibly miserable, lol. Cos he was a Hollywood Republican. 😂😂

He got bored and so did everyone else.
Of course in a Trump era, a Fred Thompson presidency doesn't sound all that absurd.
Fred Thompson for all his flaws, and may the bacteria keep him, did not seem like an unhinged cruel angry celebrity politician. I now yearn for the era when his candidacy being taken seriously was the level of absurdity in American politics.
