Day 20 in Amber Heard v Johnny Depp. Again, apologies for those I left hanging yesterday. I had to bail close to the end of the day to help my daughter who'd been in a car accident. She's fine.

Raquel Pennington, iO Tillett Wright, Josh Drew, Whitney Henriquez, Elizabeth Marz, and Melanie Inglessis all saw injuries on Amber Heard's arm and face. Inglessis, Heard's makeup artist, discussed how she covered Amber's injuries with makeup for the James Corden show.

Witkin was very concerned with Depp's health because of his drug use. He testifies Depp used weed and drank during supposed times of sobriety. He says Amber was always kind to him. He testifies Depp has always been jealous about women.

Depp was with Witkin's sister-in-law. Depp was jealous over Nick Cage and Adam Ant because his sister-in-law knew them. He was jealous when with Vanessa. Jealous when with Amber. Witkin testifies it was "all in his head."

Witkin testifies Depp discussed spending too much, and financial difficulties. Witkin has been deposed in two other Depp lawsuits.

He was introduced to Adam Waldman at some point. He asked witkin "do you have in sh*t on the Mandells?" (that was Depp's former management team or something like that.)

Witkin believes someone in Depp's inner circle pushed him out of the Depp-o-sphere.

Witkin testifies many around Depp were concerned about Depp's use but didn't want to say anything to him out of fear of their livelihood.

Tracy Jacobs is up next. She's a talent agent who represented Depp for 30 years. Standard bio questions now...

She says she was terminated, along with many in Depp's life. Depp testified previously Jacobs was a "co-conspirator" in Depp's downfall. Jacobs disagrees with Depp's assessment.

Depp said Jacobs had conflicts of interest. Jacobs denies. She testifies representing Depp became more complicated in the last 10 years she worked for him.

Now we're discussing the film London Fields. We see an email from Depp to Jacobs. Depp was furious the film used Amber's nude scene. He was threatening to sue.

Jacobs testifies no one at Disney would commit to having Depp in Pirates 6.

Jacobs testifies his ongoing lawsuits have damaged his reputation, along with his anger use. She testifies she's never seen Depp commit physical abuse against Amber Heard.

Jacobs helped Depp secure a loan through Bank of America during his financial difficulties. Jacobs testifies she doesn't know if Depp has ever assaulted any woman.

Jacobs once described depp as the biggest movie star in the world. By 2015, his drug use and anger issues were blamed for his star falling. Jacobs is aware Depp allegedly punched someone on the set of City of Lies.

Jacobs testifies Depp has not had any significant roles since he terminated her. There was no contract or option for Pirates 6.

Depp told Mandel his sister would act as gatekeeper between Mandel's team and Depp.

Mandel testifies his role as Depp's business manager became more difficult around 2010. Depp's consumption of alcohol and drugs became excessive, leading to erratic behavior.

Mandel testifies it became increasingly difficult to arrange meetings and engage with Depp in meetings because of Depp's drug and alcohol use.

Mandel testifies about Depp's increasing anger issues concurrent with his drug and alcohol use.

Mandel testifies their relationship with Depp became so impacted by Depp's use and anger issues they dissolved their business arrangement in 2015.

Mandel warned Depp in early 2015 that he was in very dire financial shape which was met with anger by Depp.

Mandel warned Depp about his spending. Depp's inner circle was paid well over 200k a year each. Mandel says Depp didn't donate to charities but would lend his name to them. Depp would acknowledge his financial straits with Mandel but did little to get his spending under control.

Now... Depp's tax returns... Mandel filed. Depp testified under oath Mandel didn't file for 17 years. Mandel says this is not true. Depp spent thousands a month on prescription drugs. Mandel's firm had to pay for property damage for Depp in various rentals and hotels.

RE: the $25 mil Depp needed 'by the end of the year.' Mandel was not able to pay Depp's tax liability in 2015. Depp didn't have the money.

Feb 10, 2016 - Mandel gave Depp dire financial news. Conversations with Depp over his finances became heated. Mandel said Depp needed to sell his properties to stay afloat.

2016, Depp terminated the services of Mandel's management group. This was on recommendation of Edward White. Mandel testifies TMG or Mandel did not steal money from Depp. Mandel was never found by any court to have committed any financial malfeasance.

I did a bit info dump on Adam Waldman this morning. Go back a read it. Damn, the MF is dweeb.

So, Team Depp doesn't want Waldman to answer whether he is involved with Depp in any other capacity than as an attorney. Waldman claims his only involvement with Depp is as an attorney.

2016 - October. First became Depp's attorney then. Team Depp won't allow Waldman to answer what his role in THIS trial is.

Waldman has answered about 15% of Team Heard's questions regarding his relationship with Depp. Team Depp keeps objecting.

Now another quote from Daily Mail with a quote from Waldman. He was describing what he viewed Amber did the night the police officers arrived as a 'hoax.' Waldman cannot answer anything about these quotes other than affirming he made them.

A third article from the Daily Mail (btw, daily mail was Waldman's favorite source to leak info to.) "We have reached the beginning of the end of Ms. Heard's abuse hoax against Johnny Depp." He was referring to the UK trial, which he and Johnny Depp lost badly.

Waldman's descriptions of prior witness testimony is not accurate. Waldman relied on Marilyn Manson to 'disprove' Amber's claims.

Waldman admits to giving information to "internet journalists" - He testifies leaking info to TUG, The Brian Fella, The Real Laura B. (tip: All of these also push conspiracies on Evan Rachel Wool and Marilyn Manson.)

So a statement made by Waldman to a German media outlet regarding a perjury investigation by the LAPD. We know this was a lie. Waldman never corrected it.

Waldman says he brought a binder of info to an LAPD desk officer with what he believes to be evidence and filed a claim. He says the claim was in writing. But no one has the document. LOL

Waldman doesn't recall signing the LAPD complaint nor did he talk to anyone else other than the desk officer. So the LAPD perjury claim pushed by Waldman was the same as filing a complaint about a noise ordinance violation or something, LOL.

Next witness is Marie Sadanago, police detective with the LAPD and the department's domestic violence director.

She's discussing LAPD domestic violence protocol. A crime vs. an incident. When a victim is reluctant to press charges, but there is property damage, policy is to make an arrest or take a report.

2014 report form for LAPD. It was updated to probe further into claims of DV and the history of the victim. Includes questions required by California State Law.

Now another exhibit, the supplemental form referred to in the LAPD 2014 document. It contains numerous questions that are required to be asked. I believe the case Bredehoft is building is the LAPD didn't follow protocol when they came to the penthouse.

Schnell initially used Twitter's API to analyze various hashtags starting April 2020, coinciding with Vladimir Putin lackey Adam Waldman's defamatory statements.

He's explaining for the record what a hashtag is. He analyzed hashtags from tweets negative to Amber Heard. A supermajority was using one of four. Close to 3 million negative tweets about Amber used these hashtags.

He also reviewed other hashtags other than the majority 4 that were negative to Amber. He analyzed six that were negative to Mr. Depp. We're seeing a chart representing the hashtags.

So we're seeing the hashtags negative to Heard far far far exceed those of negative ones to Depp in 2018. In 2020 over 2 million negative to Heard.

We see the spike of when Adam Waldman leaked the edited audio.

I think Team Depp doesn't quite know how to respond. They clearly don't understand this. People on Heard's side have been preaching this for several years. Just a few spattering objections.

"Hoax" is used often in the negative tweets, mirroring Waldman's press quotes.

I think anyone who believes Depp, and who actually understands this social media forensics, might be slowly realizing they were duped a little bit.

Here's an email from her/to her with another attorney regarding the postnup with Amber Heard. The attorney was Dana Lowrey (?) who represented Depp.

There was a confidentiality agreement surrounding it.

So this is the lawyer that Depp verbally attacked (called her a b*tch) and fired her from representing Heard in their postnup negotiations. She felt Depp was intoxicated.

ok, next witness is Ellen Barkin, former love interest of Johnny Depp.

A few weeks ago Team Depp tried to have this deposition thrown out.

Ellen Barkin met Depp in 1990. Developed a friendship that obviously went further...

Her relationship with Depp took a romantic turn when she moved to Hollywood. 1994 or so. Her relationship with Depp became sexual for 3 - 5 months.

When they were at Depp's house, Depp's assistant and sister were there. Depp referred to his assistant as 'Pig.' Barkin testifies Depp was drunk most of the time. Also took cocaine, hallucinogenics, and marijuana. In her presence? All the time.

Barkin testifies Depp's behavior was not the same when he was using. Barkin testifies Depp threw a wine bottle across the room during a fight she was present at. The bottle did not hit her or anyone else.

The bottle was thrown in her direction. They broke up soon thereafter.

"he's a jealous man, controlling" he once got mad at a scratch on her back, saying it came from her having sex with another man.

So afternoon break... but since I'm behind it's just 5 minutes for me...

Next witness is Dr. Allen Blaustin. I believe Team Heard is the only one asking questions. Dr. Alan Blaustein is a psychiatrist who treated Depp. He says Depp had anxiety. There were discussions about Depp being bi-polar.

Dr. Alan Blaustein says Depp expressed having anger issues in general and with Amber. He doesn't recall why Depp had anger issues with Amber. Depp expressed feelings of jealousy regarding Amber.

Now we see invoices from Dr. Blaustein. They met 18 times. Blaustein had concerns with some of the meds Depp was on like adderall. He had concerns about Depp using drugs and alcohol.

Depp stopped seeing Blaustein when he left for Australia. Seems Depp didn't like doctors who were concerned with his drinking and drug use.

In his notes, the Dr. mentions rage and chaos surrounding relationships with Amber and Vanessa Paradis.

Dr. mentions the term 'devil' Depp used to describe "something horrible inside himself." A representation of his daily battles with depression, anxiety, and jealousy. Dr. recalls Depp using the term "monster."

According to the Dr., Johnny once told Amber she was being "his mother and psychotic sister."

Depp said Amber accused him of being manic.

Dr. says Depp was having "transitional" issues with his memory. He couldn't remember "three words five minutes later."

Dr. says Depp described himself as "paranoid."

Dr. testifies Depp felt threatened when other women admired Heard.

Up next, Eric George, attorney for Amber when she wrote the op-ed.

he is a litigator in entertainment law. He's done defamation cases before. He was the legal counsel for the US Senate Judicial Committee. Uber- qualified lawyer.

He's know Amber Heard five years. Now Elaine Bredehoft will discuss the op-ed with him. She presented him a draft of the counsel for review, edit, and presenting it for publication.

He reviewed it to offset or minimize any chances for lawsuits resulting from it.

Next witness - Jessica Kovacevic, Amber's agent. She testifies Amber had a successful career when she began working with her.

She testifies she never saw Mr. Depp hit Amber Heard. She assisted Amber in procuring Amber Heard's role in Aquaman. She testifies Amber received no negative reviews for her performance in Aquaman.

Jessica was successful in renegotiating Amber's contract for the next film. She testifies there were online rumors Amber was being replaced. No one ever told her Warners misrepresented why they would replace Heard. The terms of the alleged 'restoration' were $2 mil.

"What's a bot?" A fake account created to execute a certain objective. How well know was Ms. Heard when you began working with her? Industry people knew who she was. Jessica describes the arc of her career slowly rose...Justice League and Aquaman were turning points for her.

She says she wouldn't classify Amber's career as being on the upswing anymore despite her success in Aquaman. Jessica testifies Amber's career went south same time the online harassment began. Jessica says industry people were afraid to admit bad press/hearsay cost her roles.

Jessica Kovacevic blames Adam Waldman's smear campaign for this. Statements in the press, tweets, etc.

Jessica Kovacevic says NO performance issues were raised in her performance in Aquaman. She tested very well with test audiences.

Jessica Kovacevic expected Amber's stock to rise after Aquaman - endorsements, production deals, movie offers, etc.
