#SupremeCourt will today consider the interim inquiry report of the three-member committee constituted by the court to probe into #Pegasus controversy allegations
Court reading out from the report, The technical committee has received and tested 20 Mobiles, the Committee has also recorded statements of petitioners. Through an public consultation a large number of responses have been received. It will be finalised by end of May 2022.
Court: It would require some time to consider the suggestions and recommendations of the committee.

CJI Ramana: There are two aspects, one is regarding the examination of the mobile phones and everything and the other one is regarding the law and making suggestions over the same. Once the technical committee submits a report to the supervisory bench.
Court: We direct the technical committee to expedite the examination of mobiles that they have received and submit its report to the overseeing judge.
The bench has allowed 4 weeks to the committee and has directed the matter to be listed in July.
