This may very well be the first time I’ve come across a runner with clear parts that you’re supposed to paint with non-clear paint.

Head and torso assembly’s gonna be challenging.
Some questionable engineering to accommodate gimmicks in the head.
Then it’s a very tight fit to snap the torso in place. Also gonna have to accept a seamline on the underbelly. #プラモ #タイムボカン

That’s as complete a snap build as I’m gonna get from this kit. Don’t want to stress the polycaps on the limbs before final assembly. #プラモ #タイムボカン

I clipped a few of the little bug vehicle pieces onto the sticks by their “pincers” and it looks like they’re holding on for dear life. #プラモ #タイムボカン
Coated some parts this evening. For the record, the brown shade’s two parts radiant yellow and one part mahogany brown. #プラモ #タイムボカン
