A recent article that I wrote on Jawaharlal Nehru’s ‘Panch Bhool’ or ‘Five Blunders’ on Kashmir has invited varied reactions. Among other things, I wrote that Maharaja Hari Singh’s government wanted to accede to India even before August 15, 1947, (1/8)
but it was Nehru who refused. This assertion was based on a version of events narrated by Nehru and no one else.
It is in this context that the response to my article by Dr Karan Singh is deeply disappointing. (2/8)
He completely skipped the other four blunders of Nehru – suo motu insisting that the accession was provisional; moving the UN under the wrong Article after Pakistan’s invasion, (3/8)

This 'historical lie', that Maharaja Hari Singh dithered on question of accession of Kashmir with India has gone on for far too long in order to protect the dubious role of J.L.Nehru.

Let me quote Nehru himself to bust the lie of @Jairam_Ramesh. 1/6

Nehru speaking in Lok Sabha on 24th July, 1952 (After agreement with Sheikh Abdullah).
The first time Maharaja Hari Singh approached Nehru for accession to India was July 1947 itself, a full month before Independence.
It was Nehru who rebuffed the Maharaja. 2/6
Here is Nehru in his own words on why it was not Maharaja Hari Singh who delayed Kashmir's accession to India but Nehru himself.
Maharaja had approached in July 1947 itself, like all other Princely States. Other states were accepted. Kashmir was rejected. 3/6

If there is one party that is the antithesis of freedom, democracy and respect for institutions, it is the Indian National Congress.

This Party has always stood with Breaking India forces and left no opportunity to divide India.

Who brought in the First Amendment? None other than Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru! It was SP Mookerjee & the Jana Sangh which stood in opposition to this measure aimed at curtailing freedom of expression.

Nehru ji also dismissed the democratically elected Government in Kerala

When it comes to trampling over free speech, Mrs Indira Gandhi Ji is a Gold Medal Winner! We all know about the Emergency but do you also know she imposed Article 356 over 50 times! She came up with the idea of a “Committed Judiciary” to weaken the Judiciary, our 3rd pillar!
