How get 10x more shares on your content:

1.) Relatability

Arguably the biggest factor in getting shares.

Put yourself in the shoes of your audience:

> What problems do they have?
> Who do they not like?
> What/Who do they like?

Create content around that (esp. funny) and 10x shares.
2.) Value

People share content because it's valuable - if you're in an informational space:

- B2B
- Fitness
- Dating/
- Other self-improvement

Give more value and experience than the average resource.
3.) Traffic

The more traffic you have, the easier it will be to get shares.

Sometimes the problem isn't that your content isn't shareable, it's that you simply don't have enough traffic.
4.) Ask

Sometimes people don't think of sharing your content, unless you ask.

Ask, at the end of a thread/blog post/video especially if you're dropping value.
5.) Make it easy

If your blog doesn't have share buttons it's going to get a lot less shares.

But you can go one step further and make it even easier:

• Use click to tweet buttons on blog posts.

• Quote the last tweet of a thread on the last tweet of a thread.
6.) Give

One of the easiest ways to get shares is to give something return.

Yeah it's technically bribing, but who tf cares.

Offer an Entry to a Giveaway, a free resource, etc.

It doesn't matter (as long as they want it) & your reach will skyrocket.
7.) Make friends

You are more likely to share your friends' content.

More friends = more shares.

Build connections and get social then your content will get more reach.

You can also share theirs first, and they'll likely start it with yours too.

Why?

I freelanced for 2 years and wrote over 200+ articles for dozens of clients.

But I'm an awful writer.

Here are 7 tips to write content even if you're not actually good at it:
1.) Knowledge

If you're sharing top-tier information, nobody actually cares whether you sound basic.

Learn a topic well and give people ideas/advice they wouldn't have thought of.

They won't care about the words you use.
2.) Shorten & write how you speak

Shorten your sentences:

- Remove unnecessary words
- Take out technical jargon (long techy words)

Combine this with only using simple words that you would say to a friend.

Makes it easier to read.

Funnily enough cigarette companies were not allowed to run ads.
