Emissions will not begin until after the first round of voting on June 4th.

So initially, only a few pools will be receiving emissions: $VELO - $USDC + two we will announce soon.

These emissions are coming from a genesis pool of 4M $VELO intended to bootstrap early liquidity.

We expect emissions on those pools to be 👌🏻.

But, the real fun is just starting!

Our ever-growing list of launch partners will begin to seed their liquidity, deposit bribes, accumulate additional $VELO, and lock their votes.

We're taking a Votium approach to things so...

All bribes will be due by EoD June 2nd.

All votes will be due by EoD June 3rd.

And emissions begin officially on June 4th!

In early voting rounds, the Velodrome Team will ensure that essential pairs are receiving robust emissions.

That means it will use a portion of it's team allocation (40M $VELO) and it's grant allocation (24M $VELO) to vote for pools such as VELO-USDC and ETH-USDC.

The benefit of this will be in not only bootstrapping initial liquidity, but ensuring that bridging and transaction routing is seamless.

For partners, this will mean a multi-pool like experience for any tokens connected to these base pairs.

What are some of the potential pairs to expect?

$VELO - $USDC, #ETH - $USDC, $FRAX- $USDC, $DAI - $sUSD, $SNX - $sUSD, $alUSD - $USDC, $DAI - $USDC, $THALES - $sUSD, $LUSD - $USDC

So what will you be able to do with your $VELO?

🔐 Lock $veVELO as a veNFT

Those with $veVELO receive 100% of protocol fees, 100% of protocol bribes, and an anti-dilutive rebase.
