This is me 20 or so minutes after being gassed. I’ve rinsed my eyes & it was still burning. The French police were unprovoked & violent towards peacefully exiting Liverpool fans. @BBCNews @ChampionsLeague @LFC They can’t be allowed to get away with this. Women & children gassed
The really sad part is that France is a beautiful country, with wonderful people. We’ve had a fantastic time with the exception of the result and the way the police have behaved. I can see why the people have been protesting for so long against #Macron and the police. Tragic.
This is the crowd moments before being tear gassed. My son took this video. No trouble. Just fans exiting the stadium peacefully. Funneled is in to one street and that’s when they threw it.
