Title: Turning out right

#GloriousWorship
@dapoojojohn

Know that every child should grow in wisdom.
The joy of every parent is to see a child turn out right.

To turnout right means to have an agreeable, acceptable and successful outcome.
There are different levels to parenting and growing up physically is inevitable.

Things to help our children/us to turn out right
1. The child should be strong in the Spirit
It's good to invest in a child's physical and academic strength, but much more, pay attention to the child's physical strength

Knowing God, walking with God, building strong character and serving Him is a way of building strong Spirit.
A man or child that is strong in the spirit can stand in the face of temptation.

To build a strong spirit, let your child(ren) know God and they know God when you teach them the word of God.
Teach a child to build strong character.
It is not wrong to be courteous and strong character does not imply weakness.

No matter how strong you are in the spirit, without getting engaged in service to God, you will fall.
Every opportunity you have, teach your child to study God's word. Let them learn to depend on God.

Teach your child(ren) to come to Church regularly.

When a child is strong in the spirit, parent need not fear wherever the child goes.
2. Should possess wisdom
You can not teach what you don't know. James 3:13-18
There is no wisdom given anywhere that can surpass the wisdom of heaven.

Teach them to do what the word says rather than what the world thinks.
A life led by the holy Spirit will always be a step ahead
Luke 2:46
Sitting with teachers and listening to wisdom makes one grow in wisdom.

Luke 2:20
When you're endowed with grace, there's need for active engagement in order to grow in it.

1Corinthians 15:10
Much labor always increases grace. Do not set aside the grace of God.
We can receive more grace and increase in grace and we can increase in grace by staying humble. James 4:6

Strong spirit is not in physical activity, it is in what is stocked up in the child.
Your child will grow strong in spirit, filled with wisdom and God's grace shall be mighty upon their life.

Title: The Mindset of a believer
Text: 2Corinthians 5:17

#HotlinetoHeaven
@GbengaAbodunrin

Mindset is an attitude or way of doing things; a pattern of behaviour.

Our mindset as a believer should be that of a redeemed person. 2Corinthians 5:17
Philippians 2:5-8
As a believer, a mind that should be in you should be of Christ.

1Corinthians 2:16
If you have the mind of Christ, then you should be able to guard your heart, attitude and all.

Mindset guides and directs all you do
CONFESSION
Even when going through negative circumstance, our mindset should be to speak positively in accordance with God's word.

Our confession should be such that even when things happen as setback, it should not be accepted as failure.

Title: Attitudes and perspectives

@dapoojojohn

Attitude: a mental position or conclusion held of a situation based on facts you have.
Perspective: A mental view or prospect, capacity to view things based on their relative importance.
Your perspective determines your attitude and it also provokes your attitude towards the information you have.

You attitude about issues speaks of your perspective of it.
1Samuel 25:2-3

1. Change is not always sudden, most especially after marriage.
Our perspective should always be how to help our spouse/friend to be better.

2. When we do good or render assistance to others, it shouldn't be in expectation of such in return.

Our perspective in life about helping others should not be about reciprocation. Galatians 6:2,9-10

@seunbankole12

Advantage of the blood.
1. It speaks forgiveness for us. Hebrews 12:24

2. It cleanses and makes holy. Hebrews 10:8-14, 1Peter 1:2

Because we have Christ, condemnation is not our portion.
3. It gives access to God's presence. Hebrews 10:19

4. It purifies. Hebrews 9:23-26

5. It gives us freedom from penalty of death. Hebrews 9:23-15

6. It gives us redemption. Hebrews 9:12
The blood of Christ is without sin; it's so pure.

1Peter 1:29, Ephesians 1:7, Romans 5:9
7. It reunites us to Christ.
Ephesians 2:13, Romans 5:9, 1Corinthians 10:16

8. It gives us victory

Whenever you partake of the communion, do it in expectation. Christ has finished it all but you have to claim it to receive it.

Amen!

What is your level of commitment to the things of God?

Either a minister or not, in God's house, He sees us as a fellow worker.

It's not everyone that permits the workings of God in them. 1Corinthians 12:6

God also works through us. Romans 12:3
2Corinthians 3:5, 1Corinthians 15:10

Four different level of service rendered to God.

1. Censorship
It is used to describe a person that supervises conducts and morals.

Title: The way of the seekers

#HotlinetoHeaven
@gbolahan_kashim

When it comes to the matter of the kingdom, you cant do away with sacrifice.
Matthew 4:24-5:1

The Kingdom of God is beyond the physical senses.
Seeking God's Kingdom is the way to be all He has destined you to be. You are a product of eternity in mind.

God loves you more than you love yourself.

Whatever you seek outside of God's Kingdom is error.

When you seek God's Kingdom, you get busy with the agenda of God.
A person of the Kingdom is only interested on what God is saying.

Jeremiah 3:15

The same way you seek the Kingdom of God, you are to seek His righteousness tenaciously too.

The laws of the Lord comes from His nature.

Hosea 10:12
