1] #YellowThread: Kwekwe Central
Exactly 91 days later, the City of gold once again turned yellow, as Change Citizens thronged Amaveni stadium to engage the CCIC, who came to thank them for staying true to the promises made on Feb 27th, a few kms away, in Mbizo
2. The #CitizensAppreciationRally was hot on the heels of a similar event, less than 24 hours back, in Binga, where the baTonga citizens, in their thousands, congregated to reaffirm that ngaanjile mulombe, at an event otherwise organized to celebrate our triumph, last February
3. Enter the Change Champion in Chief. The Leader of the Change movement was greeted with genuine love & reaffirmation of the trust in his vision & leadership. The expression of a solid, genuine relationship with the citizens was once more made clear.
4. Unsurprisingly, the architects of violence, an expression of lack of political appeal, deployed a plethora of shenanigans, to intimidate citizens from attending the rally. Citizens defied & expressed the same bravery which saw CCC defeating ZanuPF in the past by-elections.
5. The Citizens were unrentling & jubilant. Music was lit. Solidarity speeches came from many, including a disruptive student leadership, labour movement, the church, and the civil society.
6. When it was time for the main speech, the Change Champion In Chief emphasized his clarion call for peace. 'We are one people', was the clarion call.
7. Yet the other key take aways from his address are that, he honored the people of Midlands for registering to vote, and resoundingly winning big, last March.
8. President Chamisa further bemoaned the state of the economy, which has pushed many citizens into the diaspora, promising that come 2023, we must win Zimbabwe for transformational change, and rebuild our country so that her people may come back home.
9. But ofcourse, he reminded that those voted for, in the last by-elections, are duty bound, between now and 2023, to offer leadership as per the expectations of the electorate, barring all traditional impediments.
Fellow Citizens the Champion concluded by calling for a collective Citizens effort in a bid to win Zimbabwe for change. With love and solidarity always- Thank you #BringBackMobby

MOREBLESSING ALI: A Thread
Ms Moreblessing Ali (47 years of age) is a strong member of the Citizens’ Coalition for Change who is a community leader in Ward 21, Chitungwiza North. She is the mother of two children and has been involved in various community building activities.
On the night of the 24th of May 2022, it is reported by an eyewitness who knows Moreblessing well that she was seized and forcibly shoved into a motor-vehicle by Pius Jambo who is a member of Zanu. It is alleged that he is the half-brother of Simba Chisango, who is a Zanu leader.
They are both known for using violence and terror in the community. Moreblessing Ali’s family was informed of the enforced disappearance on the 25th of May 2022 whereupon an official police report was made at Makoni Police Station by the CCC.
Yellow Thread: Binga Hails.
Fellow Africans today the yellow movement as led by the Champion Chief President @nelsonchamisa was in Binga, the objective was to thank and celebrate the tenacity, love and solid support for the Citizens movement.
This was hours after the state was petrified by the Champion in Chief’s visit to Chief Mabikwa’s homestead to pay his last respect to the late Parliamentarian. They feared that the people will go frenzy. To the regime it’s all about politics rather than Ubuntu, culture and love.
Be that as it may, we proceeded to the Zambezi river basin, in Siabhuwa, it immediately become clear that the people of Zimbabwe want change and that it as an urgent question that can’t be postponed any further.
8. The Citizen's President was met with thousand of displaced citizens, who self organized to greet their Leader. We turned the banned rally into a walkabout, engaging thousands of pocked citizens, at different stops.
9. Whereas we have never had any illusions, the resilience of the citizens of Gokwe fortified our resolve. Together, we confronted blatant lawlessness with restraint, & triumphed.
10. To the people of Gokwe, particularly thousands of millennial who were the last crowd we engaged, the Citizen's President was clear, "I will be back". Indeed, we will mobilise again & gather in our Cotton Town.
YellowThread: 1. Yellow citizens, we continue to be humbled by the expressed desire for change & transformation, to be ushered by your citizens' movement, as led by the Citizen's Change Champion, President @nelsonchamisa . The people of Gokwe are just as clear
2. As we updated earlier in the morning, the regime employed all sorts of tactics to ensure the #YellowGokwe rally didn't go ahead. Beyond police perjury in the courts, they went on to defy a High Court order to allow the Citizen's Rally to go on.
3. With heavy armory which almost resembled a war, the police, unprovoked & perhaps possessed & unhinged, displaced citizens with tear smokes, poisoned water & shamboks
#GokweUpdate 1. Yellow citizens, from January 24th, we activated a deliberate political program with the dual task of introducing the new and campaigning for our by-elections elections candidates as is the norm in any democratic jurisdiction
2. To that end, after the Yellow Sunday rally in Harare, the Midlands Province, on behalf of your movement complied with legal requirements, and duly notified the authorities of our intention to hold a rally in Gokwe, on the 26th of February.
3. For the avoidance of doubt, that compliance was met with approval to proceed with our yellow gathering. We dutifully activated preparatory activities which include mobilizing supporters, deployment of our security, PA systems & other technical requirements
The task on our shoulders as young people comrades is to increase the cost of dictatorship and continue to build a credible alternative.
The path to change has never been an easy one. It requires toughness, honesty and truth telling.
There is no struggle without its Morrison Nyati, but it is out of those experiences that we learn & unite together to launch a credible fight against an oppression
This fight requires unity, unity is key- it is to me the only buffer against perrenial intrusion & political decay.
Unity to me is that of progressive forces that form the Social contract. A National project without a consensus of progressive forces yields nothing but narrow individual goals. It benefits not the ordinary men and women who are & should be in the centre of the NDR.
