#On this day , Mikhail Alexandrovich Bakunin a Russian revolutionary anarchist, socialist, & collectivist anarchist who lived from 1814 to 1876 was born.
He is regarded as 1 of anarchism's most significant thinkers & a key player in the revolutionary socialist and social anarchist traditions. In 1869 he co-wrote Catechism of a Revolutionist with Sergi Nechayev.
Despite several disagreements with Marx's idea of state socialism. Bakunin became a member of the International Working Men's Association (First International), a federation of radical political groups dedicated to overthrowing capitalism and establishing a socialist state.
