"DHS identified threats but did not share intelligence"

That sounds like a fifth column to me.
This is especially alarming because DHS is taking the lead domestically on threats related to the Ukraine invasion.
Let's not forget that DHS is the department that brought us several blatant white supremacist dogwhistles over the last few years.

People are doing their best to avoid the harsh realization that sanctions on their own aren't going to solve this.

They're great for PR, but not very effective at actually changing behavior when used on their own.

Pretending they're some proven solution ignores reality. 1/

The state of MSM news makes it easy to lose sight of Russia's larger geopolitical projects.
