GDP growth under Biden is more than twice the rate than the average of the last 3 GOP Presidents.
5/
New businesses continued to be started at historically high rates. Love this chart. US has seen an explosion of entrepreneurship, ingenuity in a time of great challenge.
Speaks powerfully to our character, our grit, our resilience. We are not being "crushed." 6/
Yes inflation is too high, but typical American worker who works full time is still coming out ahead.
Majority of American workers are not falling behind, still coming out ahead. Data from Atlanta Fed. 7/
Of the 44m jobs created in America since 1989 42m - 96% - have been created under Democratic Presidents. Basically all of them.
Rs have not done their part to move the country forward over many decades now. 8/
To recap:
4 times as many Biden jobs as last 3 GOP Presidents combined
Twice as many job openings as unemployed people
Historic rate of new business formation
Biden job growth 50x per month last 3 Rs
Of 44m jobs created since 1989 42m under Dems

If you want to dive deeper into this data we are hosting a live Zoom based discussion today at noon w/noted economist @robshapiro, and have two presentations of this data in the coming weeks.
Adding this from @bencasselman - a reminder that the lowest wage workers have done the best in this recovery, and have seen their wages rise much faster than inflation. 11/
So, in a new set of @future_majority polls of Latino voters in AZ, NV and PA, Dems are running ahead of their 2020 numbers and Republicans are running behind.
This data suggests that the notion Rs have made structural gains w/Latinos is wrong. 1/
It is possible Republicans have made gains in some places, but that we are seeing 2018 like numbers with Latinos in these states means there has been no structural movement towards Republicans.
Reporters, commentators need to drop that narrative. This data debunks it. 2/
I've been working on Latino strategy for 20 yrs, and I never believed given the outright demonization of immigrants and minorities by MAGA that the conditions for Latinos drifting towards the GOP were in place.
In fact, the GOP brand is terrible w/Latinos in these 3 states. 3/
These polls did a new, more positive relationship between Latinos and Republicans.
In fact the GOP brand and candidates are way down in these polls, as is Trump. 2/
In the AZ, NV, PA Senate races Dems have big margins with Latinos, on the upper end of what is possible, already. In AZ Mark Kelly is running ahead of his strong 2020 showing. 3/
A big day for US politics as team Biden begins a major campaign to help the American people better understand the progress we've made, how far we've come.
This is significant for even a modest improvement in Biden's econ/job approval could have huge 22 impact.
Only 30% of Americans knew jobs were up in the past year, in a year where more jobs were created than any year in US history. 2/
"The economic challenge is to keep the economy growing and to get inflation under control and the political challenge is to get more credit for the things that have gone well. That’s something that can be done in the next five or six months.” 3/
Proud to have played a role in the founding of this now venerable Washington institution.
It's clear that the @NewDemCoalition is in very good hands now. The leadership team is smart, bold and capable. The staff is deeply talented. They are ready to lead in an unsteady time. 1/
To me New Dems are at our best when we are "New" - looking ahead, helping the US understand the big changes underway & meeting them head on.
In the coming years the NDC has at least 3 big jobs - ensuring democracy prevails, tackling climate change, keeping America strong. 2/
When NDN and the NDC were built our slogan was "New Leaders for a New Time." The daunting even existential challenges ahead require a similar spirit now.
Chair @RepDelBene offers a powerful vision for the NDC's future in this @Newsweek op-ed. 3/

In 2000 Gore bested Bush among Hispanics 62/35, giving Dems a 1.6m vote margin.
In 2004 the Kerry margin was 700,000 votes.
In 2020 Biden replicated Gore's share, but w/the Hispanic electorate now 3 times bigger, that nets out to a 4.6m vote margin. That's a lot more votes. 2/
In 2004 Bush won AZ, CO, NM, NV. Dems had 2 of the Senate seats there, and only 6 of 21 House seats.
In 2020 Biden won these 4 states, Dems now control 8 of these 8 Senate seats, and 14 of 23 House seats.
Dems owe their Congressional majorities to these gains in the SW. 3/
