Title: Small but significant

@dapoojojohn

#TheWord

Significant is of effect or noticeably of larger effect.

Small means infinitesimal.
Galatians 5:9
There are some things that whether we pay attention to them or not, they are significant.

Size sometimes does not matter (examples of David and Goliath, Gideon and the 300 armies, Elijah and the Prophets of Baal)

Small could be destructive or impactful. Song 2:25
God's grace can permit little to make a bigger influence.

The little that is yielded to God has the capacity to accomplish much. Matthew 14:14, John 6:9

Small things that has significant effect.
1. Gratitude to God
A broken and a contrite heart is needed for gratitude to God. Psalm 52:17, Isaiah 57:15, 66:2

2. Good deeds
Things we do for God's kingdom, people and even unbelievers are never overlooked by God. Galatians 6:9-10, Acts 10:2-4, Hebrews 6:10
2Thessalonians 3:13
No mater how little good deeds are, it matters in God's presence. Luke 10:31-36

3. Giving
Your giving will never go unnoticed.
No matter how little you give, God will always reward.

Be deliberate in giving your heart and submitting your heart to God.
Of the resources(time, talents and treasure) God has blessed you with, be deliberate in giving back to Him. There's no time you give to God that is a waste.

Nothing should be too big for you to give to God. Understand that you can never out give God.

Title: Turning out right

#GloriousWorship
@dapoojojohn

Know that every child should grow in wisdom.
The joy of every parent is to see a child turn out right.

To turnout right means to have an agreeable, acceptable and successful outcome.
There are different levels to parenting and growing up physically is inevitable.

Things to help our children/us to turn out right
1. The child should be strong in the Spirit
It's good to invest in a child's physical and academic strength, but much more, pay attention to the child's physical strength

Knowing God, walking with God, building strong character and serving Him is a way of building strong Spirit.

Title: The Mindset of a believer
Text: 2Corinthians 5:17

#HotlinetoHeaven
@GbengaAbodunrin

Mindset is an attitude or way of doing things; a pattern of behaviour.

Our mindset as a believer should be that of a redeemed person. 2Corinthians 5:17
Philippians 2:5-8
As a believer, a mind that should be in you should be of Christ.

1Corinthians 2:16
If you have the mind of Christ, then you should be able to guard your heart, attitude and all.

Mindset guides and directs all you do
CONFESSION
Even when going through negative circumstance, our mindset should be to speak positively in accordance with God's word.

Our confession should be such that even when things happen as setback, it should not be accepted as failure.

@dapoojojohn

Attitude: a mental position or conclusion held of a situation based on facts you have.
Perspective: A mental view or prospect, capacity to view things based on their relative importance.
Your perspective determines your attitude and it also provokes your attitude towards the information you have.

You attitude about issues speaks of your perspective of it.
1Samuel 25:2-3

1. Change is not always sudden, most especially after marriage.
Our perspective should always be how to help our spouse/friend to be better.

2. When we do good or render assistance to others, it shouldn't be in expectation of such in return.

Our perspective in life about helping others should not be about reciprocation. Galatians 6:2,9-10
