Welcome back from #Shavuot! @BDSmovement's Boston chapter is circulating a map with detailed information about local "Zionist" "entities"—like synagogues and public schools with a large Jewish population—framing them as responsible for murdering Palestinians and people of color.
The Boston chapter of @BDSmovement is promoting detailed, actionable incitement against local "Zionist" synagogues, not six months after an armed hostage-taking at a synagogue in Texas.

In a time of increasing violent racism, which years of FBI data show Jews suffer the most per capita, a Boston “collective” publishes a map of “super-oppressors”—e.g. Combined Jewish Philanthropies—whose tentacles grasp a web that exploits & murders people of color worldwide.
Drawing a nefarious network where a wide range of Jewish orgs—from @ADL to @jstreetdotorg—are creepily centered as “entities”, the Mapping Project pushes the conspiracy theory that Israel trains US police to brutalize Black people & links Jews to an array of evils, local & global
The Mapping Project's idea of Zionism is so broad that its dragnet sweeps in an absurdly diverse haul: the Jewish Teen Foundation, Jewish Arts Collaborative, Synagogue Council of MA, Harvard Center for Jewish Studies...
A couple of points to make about this July 2020 educational material by @ADL, which everyone is noticing now. In specifying that only whites can be racist, it’s effectively a version of “racism equals prejudice plus power”. And it effectively downgrades #Antisemitism.
In fact, there are good reasons to distinguish #Antisemitism from down-punching forms of bigotry. However, our American awareness of racism centers on antiblack racism, so stipulating that #Antisemitism isn’t “racism” necessarily has the effect of downgrading it in importance.
Stipulating further, by implication, that racism is a unidirectional power-dynamic—i.e. “oppression … hierarchy”—estranges Jews from racial justice thinking. #Antisemitism is a form of racism that punches up against a people who are perceived to have too much “privilege”.
'Last year... [@avitalrachel's] husband was accosted by a man "shouting obscenities, and ‘You Jews! You Jews!’”
Her son still “talks about it all the time"... he built a synagogue out of Lego blocks and added a Lego security patrol outside... He is 5...' nytimes.com/2021/05/26/us/…
I appreciate @NYTimes--especially, @publicroad & @liamstack--for covering this, but I need to clarify. 50%--2 out of 4--of the attempted or successful mass murders of US Jews in the last ~2.5 years were by Blacks who believed that white "fake Jews" had stolen their birthright.
Jersey City and Monsey. Most of the anti-Semitic street violence in NYC recorded on social media over the last few years has been unrelated to Trump. Many people attributing these attacks solely to Trump and white nationalists are partisan hacks.
In the past 24 hours, Jameela Jamil, Chelsea Handler & Jessica Chastain have shared on Instagram a video of vicious anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan discussing racism.
It's a revolutionary time, so I'm going to throw something out there...
Maybe one reason why we shouldn't downplay or dismiss concerns about bad ideas among "marginalized" or "powerless" people is because elites might someday find them attractive or useful, and boost them.
