The police force first laathi charge then opened fire on the Muslims who were protesting peacefully in front of Kali Mandir at Ranchi Main Road. Seeing the chance of stampede, bullets were also fired from Kali Mandir by Hindutva Mob which a young Muslim boy died on the spot.
According to an eyewitness, 16-year-old Modasir, who had gone to protest against Nupur sharma, was shot by a Hindutva mob from a Kali temple, Ranchi main road, following which he died on the spot.
Just to clarify, there is no conclusive word to confirm Modasir is dead. My tweet was based on conversation with his uncle and local. He is still in hospital as per latest update.

The family of Mudasir has confirmed the death. Another youth, Sahil, who was injured in the violence during the protests, succumbed to his injuries.
