3/ We invite you to be our JEDI!

In each track, @MomentumXYZ core team members will work in close collaboration with you to get input, feedback and clarity on what we will build over the next 9 to 12 months.

Results will be published online.

4/ Who is a JEDI? 🖖

As a Jedi, you play an essential role to enable the necessary breakthroughs.

Your project, domain, community or parachain expertise gives context to the needs, challenges, and provides input to the solutions.

5/ Who can join?

Every #Dotsama community member is welcome. It’s about your drive, passion and openness ✨

Hereby, we all go to the next level, as you make sure that teams build something that is actually valuable to you, your user base and the community.

6/ When can you join the Hackathon?

Join us for the whole day, or select the moment you think you can add the most value ⏰

Option 1: Full day JEDI
Option 2: 10.00-12.00
Option 3: 16.00-20.00

TBA, in Berlin, very well reachable with public transport.

7/ Full Hackathon process

Prepare PRE-HACK (online)
⚡️ Deep dives in the different (parachain) projects
⚡️ 3 x Deep dive into the tracks to uncover the challenges
⚡️ Formulating the challenge to work on during the hack

8/ Hackathon (on-site, Berlin, Tue June 28th)

Diving deeper in the challenges! Results:

⚡️ A clear description of the problem
⚡️ What will we unlock when we solve this problem?
⚡️ An indication what it would take to build the solution

9/ Post-hackathon (online)

⚡️ Teams further validates the solution path with the JEDI/ (parachain) projects
⚡️ Teams solution, design and build the feature solving the problem through the development funnel of Momentum.

10/ The Hackathon tracks 🚀

Track 1: Unlocking the paraverse - Parachain utilities in the Kusamaverse

Current metaverse experiences are suboptimal. The reason? Simply not much you can do there.

11/ Momentum enables users to co-create & capture value in the metaverse by applying massively multiplayer online gaming principles to collaboration.

We're building a plugin infrastructure to bring Web2 + web3 utility to the metaverse

Hackathon is step 1 for plugins to be built

12/ Track 2: VIBES! Incentivizing valuable metaverse activities

@MomentumXYZ is an action zone, not an exhibition space.

How would you reward valuable activity in the #metaverse?

13/ Together, we peel off how a user or an entire world is incentivized and rewarded for enabling valuable activities.

How does the mechanism work?

Do you get a bigger % of the staking rewards when you have more VIBES?

14/ Track 3: Milestone 2! Key features for the Kusamaverse

We have a lot of shared ambitions, and we aim for the support of the Kusama-treasury to make that happen in 2022:
