Update: I'm on Chapter 6, and I am enjoying it, but have now resorted to using a family tree to keep up with who's who and who's related to who.
Here's the family tree I found. a drawing showing the Earnshaw and Linton family trees

NEW: Republican U.S. House Rep. Michael Guest of Mississippi is defending his vote for a national January 6th commission after his GOP opponent, Michael Cassidy, successfully forced him into a runoff while accusing him of disloyalty to the Trump movement.mississippifreepress.org/24713/rep-gues…
“After Mr. Guest and a handful of other RINOs voted for Bennie Thompson’s January 6th Commission, Donald Trump said: ‘…there are consequences to being ineffective and weak. The voters understand,’” @VoteCassidy wrote in a June 11 tweet.

“Mr. Guest refuses to acknowledge that he shouldn’t have voted for that bill which 9 times called the events of January 6 a ‘domestic terror attack.’ Let’s show Mr. Guest and the rest of the RINOs that there ARE consequences to their actions," Cassidy said.mississippifreepress.org/24713/rep-gues…

NEW: After voting for a Jan. 6th investigation last year, incumbent Republican Congressman Michael Guest is being forced to defend his seat in a GOP primary runoff.

His "America First"-branded opponent, Michael Cassidy, won slightly more votes last night.mississippifreepress.org/24610/rep-mich…
Rep. Michael Guest “is a card-carrying member of the Establishment who voted to create the Jan 6th Commission,” his GOP runoff opponent, Michael Cassidy, said.

He has hired GOP consultant Matt Bayard, a high-profile 2020 election denier.
mississippifreepress.org/24610/rep-mich…
Though Michael Guest voted for a failed bill to establish a bipartisan January 6th committee, he voted against the eventual January 6th select committee amid backlash.

He then claimed he mainly wanted to investigate Speaker Pelosi's role in Jan. 6.mississippifreepress.org/24610/rep-mich…

NEW: Before this year, no Black woman had ever run for U.S. House in Mississippi's 1st Congressional District.

Tonight, Dianne Dodson Black, a Black business owner, won the Democratic nomination.

She'll challenge Republican Rep. Trent Kelly in November.mississippifreepress.org/24547/dianne-b…
“Dianne wants to bring her experience as a small business owner to Congress to advocate for Mississippians," her website says.

She says she will be a "yes vote" for the "Biden/Harris domestic agenda."

Black describes her platform says she wants to support legislation to protect abortion rights; incumbent Trent Kelly opposes abortion rights.

In 2020, Kelly beat Democratic opponent Antonia Eliason in a 69%-31% rout.

Let's be clear Mississippi: There is NO party registration here!

You may vote in either the Democratic or Republican primary.

If there are runoffs, you must vote in the same party runoff as in the primary.

Then, you can vote however you want in the general! #Election2022
So if you vote in the Democratic primary and the Republican party primary goes to a runoff, you can't then vote in the Republican runoff; only the Democratic one (if there is one).
But you can vote in the Democratic primary if you choose and then vote for the Republican candidate in the general—or vice versa.

Don't let ANYONE tell you you must vote for the same party in the general election as in the primary/primary runoffs.
