Here's the lowdown of what happened in #JohnnyDepp v. #AmberHeard today: the hearing started with Elaine Bredehoft asking about a briefing schedule for post-trial/post verdict motions. Judge Azcarate said something to the effect of @LawCrimeNetwork
"We don't do that" and mentioned that EB has been practicing there for 20 years. EB wanted to schedule hearings. Judge Azcarate said "I've had this case for 18 months and we had a 6-week trial. We don't need a hearing." EB said "Your Honor can decide on the papers"
Judge A said, "absolutely." EB said something about the post-trial motion being ministerial. Judge A said "this judgement is final today... I'm putting final on the order." @LawCrimeNetwork

The #Rhoden and #Gilley murders, often called the Pike Co. Massacre, took place here 6 years and 2 months ago. That's how long I've been coming out here for this case. It's astounding @LawCrimeNetwork

Now to Motion 85 to dismiss counts in indictment b/c case was charged in Pike County and many of the alleged offenses occurred in Adams and Scioto County. (Rita Newcomb's - Jake's g-ma- attorney tried this argument in her case. It didn't work). #PikeCounty @LawCrimeNetwork
FOR CONTEXT: Rita Newcomb had been charged with perjury and obstruction for lying to the grand jury. She agreed sometime ago to testify against her family members and pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor @LawCrimeNetwork
@LawCrimeNetwork Special prosecutor Angie Canepa now arguing against Motion 85 and quoting the indictment about the venue. "Venue is not a material element. Venue and jurisdiction are different things." @LawCrimeNetwork

We were asked a question on the Lunch Show about threats of violence being made against #AmberHeard and whether this trial can be fair. I didn't get to say everything I wanted to say. So, here goes. I don't feel anyone should be threatening violence against anyone (cont) 1/4
I don't condone violence of any sort. This case is being litigated in a court of law. Trials are a search for the truth and jurors are the trier of fact. I understand the passion people feel about this case. But let the jury do its work. That said, 2/4
no one, and I mean NO ONE should be threatening violence against witnesses in this case. I am sickened and disgusted that that has happened. And trying to intimidate witnesses? You reap what you sow. Remember that. 3/4

Kraus says the DA's office got a call about the higher quality drone video when Lackowski was testifying. He said they gave what they believed was the full file to Ms. Wisco - it came in without objection @LawCrimeNetwork #KyleRittenhouse
Kraus: it was an exhibit for 4 days in court. They thought they gave Ms. Wisco full copy. He says they didn't change anything and provided it via Air Drop on her iPhone. We did not mean to give them a different copy. We didn't know it was different until Friday @LawCrimeNetwork
Kraus: I cannot explain why Ms. Wisco's file had been compressed. That is not something we can be held accountable for. The software on Ms. Wisco's phone compressed the file @LawCrimeNetwork #KyleRittenhouse
