Maharashtra | Rescue operation underway as several people are trapped after a four-storey building collapsed in Kurla, Mumbai last night
As per officials, 12 people have been rescued & one was declared dead.
Rs 5 lakh to be given to the family of the deceased & the injured will be given free treatment. The incident will be investigated & action will be taken against those responsible. A meeting has been called to ensure that such incident doesn't happen again: Maha Min Subhash Desai

3 people died & 4 were admitted to the hospital, while 9 people were discharged after the primary treatment. As per the fire brigade,there are 7-8 people trapped under the debris of the building. Police suspect that there could be even more people: BMC Commissioner Iqbal S Chahal

Back in 2016, building was listed under C1 category. Later, following an audit, it was reclassified under C2. Following C2 reclassification, it should have been repaired, but it wasn't. I, however, don't think there has been negligence on part of BMC: Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Potnis
