The allegations in the document are very very serious. And it is important to say that they ARE NOT VERIFIED.

But if this document is a fabrication, it is very hard to understand why it would be released, by anyone.
There are many peculiar aspects to the info. side of this. Here I addresse the denial issued by the Govt of Uganda on May 13th, during a visit to Uganda by Field Marshall Birhanu Jula.

Why was this not reported in any other English Language media? I'd love to know if it was reported in Amharic Media.

One might have expected it to be commented on by the Ethiopian Govt, and or #ETV or @EthiopianNewsA. Perhaps it was in Amharic.
But if it had been, one would have expected it to also be all over Twitter. But so far the Ugandan article has only been shared three times. Once by me in this thread. The other two are by the publication and the author.

The denial came in response to three @youtube reports 1. Zehabesha on May 4th
2. @SajidNadeem on May 5 >> ...
3. ... and May 6 >>
The two channels are competitors, both very good at what they do too with large numbers of viewers. One of Zehabesha's followers even posted screenshots in a tweet.

But the stories received very little traction I could only find a handful of tweets.
The text in these tweets is subltly different from that which I received. Maybe it all seemed too far fetched. And maybe the original outing of this document was less complete than the version published today.

Some in the UN seem to think it’s the rules of armed conflict.

Bedrock principles of humanitarian aid during armed conflict.

But I am not certain that these rules were designed in a manner that can deal with the “special”characteristics of the TPLF….
The TPLF’s “special” relationship with the UN further complicates things, particularly the conduct and impunity of @DrTedros.

Yes of course the TPLF are separate from the people of Tigray, most of whom are also their victims. But the lines are very badly blurred here.
Specifically the lines between UN’s obligation to address the needs of civilians in harms way….

…and their obligation (and the broader IC’s) to not be actively supporting a belligerent, violent and destructive insurrection.

Why does no-one want to represent the United States President @JoeBiden in the Horn of Africa?

To lose one. Unfortunate perhaps.
Two seems careless.
And the third after such a short term?

Irresponsible? A wake up call? An indicator of incoherence and incompetence perhaps?
And that’s not counting the other high profile disasters.

Clueless Senator @ChrisCoons, spooky acting @AsstSecStateAF Robert Godec, and bungling @PowerUSAID/@SamanthaJpowers.

Maybe it’s time for the real US policy maker in the Horn, @AmbRice46 to step out into the sunlight.
… correction @SamanthaJPower. She has a singular power. Not sure what it is. Though after observing her for a while it’s a toss up between seriousnessness, sycophancy and self-promotion.

Very Boris like speech. Alarmist. Distracting. Jingoist. Boris wants to be Winston Churchill. And Macron is being case as Neville Chamberlain.

NATO is not fighting yet. And hopefully won't.

Mobilisation makes sense. Silly rhetoric like this does not.
The Indo-Pacific part of the speech is also unnecessary. Russia is not in the Indo Pacific.

The Central & Exec. Cmttes. of Prosperity Party have received a report and agreed to 3 principles to guide peace talks.
1. Respect of Ethiopia's constitutional order;
2. Respect for the funcamental national interests of the State;
3. Respect for the AU as the facilitator.
However both committes also say Ethiopia needs to be ready for any outcome - because of the nature of the adversary, it may not be considered a reliable partner for peace and the ENDF should therefore be ready for any outcome.

The release of the @BBC documentary last week #UNWhistleblowers appears to have opened a pandora's box. The following day Swiss/Italian news service @RSInews released a 2nd investigative documentary on the subject.

@BBC @RSInews The version linked above posted on @youtube was published on June 22nd, audio is in italian and English with subtitles making it fully accessible in English. Here is the Italian Language version.
Both documentaries have segments related to #UNWhistleblowers addressing issues in @UNOPS - a logistics organisation which services UN projects. The @RSInews documentary begins with an investigation into a water services project which was subject to "protected disclosures".
