Fed up of your school board that ignores you? Mutes you, like @fcpsnews does? Well, Fairfax parents @HarryJ4Justice @jefhoffman, Brian Davison @freethedata_, Stephanie Lundquist-Arora are RIGHT NOW holding a meeting of the new Fairfax County #ShadowBoard!
The #ShadowBoard is going on and on now patting themselves on the back with word salad — just like the real board.
Oh a fix: Brian Davison is at @FreeThatData
Local thorn on the side of the school board, Mark Spooner, joins the #ShadowBoard from the actual @fcpsnews school board meeting. The fourth wall shattered!

I’ve had this video for days + now sharing because it’s circulating + there is 1 aspect that should be acknowledged: The boy choked is Shaan Pritmani, an Indian American + also Hindu. Coppell ISD suspended Shaan for 3 days. This case is sending shockwaves thru the Hindu community
Here is an article from Hyderabad India to show how far the story is going. The parents released the video. The alleged assailant got one 1 day suspension while the victim got 3 days suspension. The Hindu + Indian communities are very troubled by this case

What have consequences of the race-based admissions been? Record numbers of freshmen students leaving TJ. The principal is demanding meetings with the students to keep her dropout numbers down, say sources.

Math is critical for advanced sciences, like machine learning + physics. Most 9th graders admitted to TJ through the test process had mastered geometry. @yudapearl, now with the race-based process, freshmen arrive with lower math levels than before.

“Equity Pedagogy” is a treasure trove of the woke buzzwords @peterboghossian @ConceptualJames warn about. “Culturally responsive,” “culturally relevant,” “Racial and Educational Justice Teams,” “equitable school climates.” Bingo! All buzzwords for activism, not academics.
Next? @Northshore_Supt is pushing an “Ethnic Studies Framework.” “Ethnic studies” blew up in California with anti-Semitism and Marxist (yes) activism. Also: “equitable” outcomes in “Multi-tiered Systems” is a word salad jackpot for contractors in schools.

The new admissions policy to TJ, @stevenmazie, is NOT "race-neutral." As immigrants from Asia + families "of color," we are denigrated, caricatured + ridiculed by "progressive" activists, school board members + officials + politicians pushing the anti-Asian RACE-BASED admissions.
Suggestion, @stevenmazie: You would be well-served to speak with our families and learn about this case from the trenches, not from an ivory (not to be racist) tower, where it's easy to throw around terms like "shadow docket" and "race-neutral."
@stevenmazie WHEN the Supreme Court sides with @coalitionforTJ, it will be because we are on the CORRECT side of history, just like the Brown family in Brown v. Board of Education. Don't dismiss us + our case as Asians, @stevenmazie, with ivory-tower talk of a "shadow docket." That's rude.
